Custom rom discussion.

Is anyone gonna start work on a custom rom? My laptop broke so I'm out of the picture for now lol.

I'd like to do one for the SD425 US variant, but without the sources from Moto, how difficult would it be?

@squid2 said he was going to work on LineageOS when he has time. We need the device trees straightened out. We need motorola msm8937 board trees. I don't believe they exist yet. I've been working on something. Be patient, it'll take a bit.

I've been doing all these roms for Moto E 2nd gen and some for Moto G falcon. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=196244 As soon as something is compilable, I'll have at least one of them done for this thing.

I was working on lineage 14.1 but the couple builds I did bootlooped and I haven't had a chance to figure it out. I see @CodyF86 is doing a fine job working on lineage 15.0. I'm going to do the same with his trees and see if I can help with the progress. After running los 15.0 on my surnia, it's surprisingly stable for being so early in development. Hopefully it'll be as stable on the E4 also.
