Well technically you can force flash a galaxy S3 rom, because the chipset and LCD panel is same.
However, it had it's own deal breakers.
1. The camera will not work. So it basically makes the device pointless.
2. It probably will crash and won't boot up. You may not be able to restore it afterwards.
3. Even if it boots Wi-Fi might not work.

So, your device may and will probably become as useful as a brick, at 90 percent of time.
Do you wish to do so?
