This ROM can not be installed on Android 6.
The "way back" to EMUI 4 goes by official rollback.
[Custom ROM] [K-ROM V.2] Honor 6x (Berlin) BLN-L21C432B360 - EMUI 5 -Android 7
Based on Huawei firmware C432B360 and HRT_Kangvip B357.
My ROM has been developed and tested on this device:
Huawei Honor 6x - Premium - [BERLIN]
Model number: BLN-L21
EMUI 4 build number: NRD90M test-keys
EMUI 5 build number: BLN- L21C432B360
-OTA updated Free device, without branding, with root and TWRP Recovery 3.1.1
The following mods were integrated and activated:
- Autostart administration in the phone manager
- Call Recorder
- KangVip Advanced Settings
Should extensions or Xposed be added, will be updated immediately.
Whether the following instructions on Provider Branding is applicable,
I could not test and therefore advise against it.
The Rom was installed successfully on BLL-L21C185B361 (Middle East) from @--ahmed.
You need:
- PC or Windows tablet
- USB cable
- Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10
- Minimal Adb and Fastboot
- OEM unlocking active in the developer options
- Huawei HiSuite (installs all necessary drivers)
- USB debugging on. Back up your data using Huawei Backup.
The Rom is installed as if you wanted to restore a TWRP backup.
Before the ROM installation, please create a TWRP 3.1.1 backup for emergencies !!
Conditions for installation:
The firmware EMUI 5 / B360 (nougat) must be preinstalled. My ROM can not be installed on Android 6. Root is not necessary.
TWRP Recovery 3.1.1 (berlin311.img) is required.
OEM + FRP unlocked.
OEM Unlock and USB on in phonesettings.
TWRP installation is described here:
https://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/...test-keys-android-7-0-nougat-emui-5-0.834824/
The compressed file contained in the download package
2017-06.system.update.B360.k.rom.v.2.rar (1,008.1 MB) please unzip (do not download as zip). The backup file created in this way
2017-06.system.update.B360.k.rom.v.2 please copy to the ExtSd in the TWRP backup folder.
Installation:
Please do not make wipes. Do not delete the cache or dalvik cache. Also no other partition and also no Factoryreset to perform. Later, this is feasible.
In TWRP now my backup restore and reboot.
All partitions; lease do not part recovery.
Your applications, with data and settings, are retained.
If TWRP wants to root, please refuse the request.
Now the ROM installation is complete. An additional installation of SuperSu and BusyBox is not necessary. Both were integrated And configured. There are comprehensive reading and writing rights.
The ROM is partially debloated. Some Google Apps have been removed. They can be installed by you if necessary. You can do that, too Do well with the HiApp.
Please make regular backups. ...... and remember: A custom ROM is Never as perfect as a stock Rom. He has to teach him something.
Never update the app from SuperSu. If it does happen, immediately the app delete and install the SuperSu App from the download package.
Should you ever make a Factoryreset, updated before that Google Account.
Root, K-Settings and the OTA update capability will remain thereafter.
The Rom is to be used very well as a Rescue System. Because it has no data partition, it provides independently a new in the boot process , one if none exists.
Have fun ! I hope my bad English is clear enough. Sorry!
