[CUSTOM ROM] LineageOS 18.1 for XPERIA X Compact (kugo)

For my case, works perfect except for light sensor. Brightness can be changed manually, so it's not critical.

That problem is due to selinux, we are working at it

You maybe already aware, not only light sensor, but almost all sensors excluding GPS are same condition. Thank you for working it.

I do have massiv problems with gps.
gpstest works ... after a longer time of waiting
gpsstatus as well if gpstest was executed before

but osmand and a couple of germany specific apps for train and scooter management not.
sure the permission were given.. Also remove and repermit was tried ...

gpslock tool to keep gps going was not helping here

For the ones who may ask if I tried the ideas from other gps not working threads...
yes I did also the factory default try beside the gpslock and gpstest tools.

For me it looks like as the apps are not allowed (even if I gave permission) to use the gps

I often used GPS Status & Toolbox in the past but obviously this doesnt work with these build. For me it looks like that tools which trying to use the GPS as directly as possible are not working properly.

Flash Stock 8 and then Los 18.1 all Sensors working include Light Sensor.

You can try enabling the developer option: "Show Bluetooth Devices Without Names" and see if your Soundpeats has more than one MAC address associated with it.

First of all, thank you for your answers to my questions.I found the problem today, when the headset is connected, if I can quickly turn off the "HD Audio" switch, Bluetooth works fine. The problem seems to be that "HD Audio" is causing Bluetooth to crash.

I did clean install + gapps (no root, no mod), it is for "normal" use. At startup I can't configure google account I got a blackscreen during"checking informations" step. Screensaver deactivated no fingerprint or lock screen. Strange things is black screen but at the bottom the 3 "basics" button remain. Any idea what I could do? Here is a logcat hope it helps.
Nota: stock ROM flashed before

Dunno if this helps, because the ROM that I've used with the device was the last official LineageOS release (2022 10 21), but also 18.1.
My advice: try something else than OpenGapps.
I had similar problems with various Gapps packages, and the only one that I got working with a functional first-run Setup Wizard was the Mindthegapps package. I was also able to fully start the ROM with Bitgapps or Nikgapps (not sure as this was half a year ago), but there was no Setup Wizard at startup.

Hello. I also have the problem that in 18.1 version all sensors except GPS are not working. I even tried an official 18.1 kugo version. I read now fo first flash stock 8 version and then Los 18.1. I'm new in this "phone flashing world" and spend already much times with flashing Los 17, 18 and 19. Want to stay at 18 and so need to know now where to get this stock 8 and what to do after flashing it and before flashing Los 18.1? Wipe or delete something or just flash oem stock 8 and direct after it Los 18.1 and then reboot? Many thanks for help

I have the variant docomo SO-02J, today is the second time I flash LineageOS 18.1 on my device and I never had any problems with sensors like I see some here. I flashed over the stock rom 34.4.B.1.135 (Oreo) that was working good, did not wiped anything before flash, but, I did only factory reset after finishing flash LOS 18.1. I used lineage-18.1-20220417-UNOFFICIAL-kugo file (I believe that is version 2 of the post).
Before starting this, I already flashed and used (day to day use) Los16 for 3 months, very functional too.
The only problem in both Lineage ROM's is NFC. If someone found NFC working (in any LOS build0, please post here.
