I been reading just about every where possible on this unit but I've seen mostly joying has a similar unit as this is not a joying unit. Any help would be appreciated

We have really similar units (hardware wise) and I used the Stock joying firmware to "reset" mine. I didn't like the ROM that came installed and when I looked on joying's website one of the screen shots they have on their support page matched mine almost to the T. So I went ahead and flashed their firmware and it's working great now.

I have a unit with about the same MCU, mine is 2017-06-24 09:32:43 K_(7706)_90_C9_k1_CAN(All)_AMP and looking for any newer or custom version. Anyone know how to get to Recovery menu?

No I didn't I sold that unit no real support for it only thing I was able to accomplish is rooting it and finding firmware that was for that unit but from different mfg. Sorry!

Hello. Was anyone able to root this device? I'm trying to work a usb 3g dongle on it but there are no "mobile settings, just wifi. So, root it wil help me to get functionality. thanks in advance

Absolutely the wrong forum. This forum is for Android Auto, that head unit runs Android. They're two completely different things. Reported, but the mod doesn't understand the difference, either.
