Try this. Untick mount namespace separation in SuperSu, reboot phone.

what version of supersu u r flashing via recovery? or what method u did for rooting?

because in my version of supersu-v2.04 (i flash it via recovery and than updated normal when asked) there is no option u mention above, so the problem still exist in my case with TB :(

6040A

@bryanjay420 my phone is the single sim version with the sd card (6040A). i read through the forums and i understand that if i do flash this rom, i would get error message no sim detected since the phone is a single sim also i would not get data services.

Therefore i just want to confirm before i flash this rom.
1) To use this rom with the 6040A - do not flash pre-loader and mobile info?
2) placed the modem.img file in the path "root/custpack/modem/" rename the file to modem_1_3g_n.img set permission to 644, then restart the phone? (this will allow enable 3g service on the 6040A ?)

Your first statement is correct. For the second one, I'm using 6040X phone model, and didn't changed any modem file, and 3g services working fine on my phone.

Instal BuildPropEditor end edit these two options, restarting phone. 1421175708250.jpg
Now you will not get annoying message sim2 error not found, or something like that.

thread: [UPDATE 04.01.15][ROM][Alcatel OT 6040D / TCL S950 Idol X][Kitkat 4.4.2][BUILD 01008]
Yes, but maybe to particularly name all model names X, A, D...
X and A are single sim versions. Don't know if there is any other model letter. But, as you wish. It's same to me.

@bryanjay420 and @Put_Nick flash to idol x 6040A (single sim) and its working so far so good
I did the same as you, but I'm experiencing issues with data. On certain apps data works (Instagram, Google Now, Google Maps, Messenger, Gmail), but on other apps I can't get them working (Snapchat, Facebook, Chrome). I think it's an issue with the baseband used.

Do you happen to have a backup of your original 6040A firmware before you flashed the 6040D firmware?
