No i haven't jumped in to that just yet. In trying to see if i prefer this slim kat to the the stock Rom. Which so far I totally am. I'll look in to it and get back to you soon.

I don't think it's possible with current kernels.
At least it was never possible using Stock or ROMs on 4pda.ru

hey guys, I installed the ROM dimkin_76 on my TCL S950, VERY sweet ROM but, two issues:
1) Once device is powered down/off or restarted there is a memory card notification (phone storage can now be safely removed or something like that). I have to take out the memory card and put it back in for it to mount and especially for Google Play Store to work (weird).
2) Once device goes on stand by for long periods, I noticed that only when i open whatsapp i receive messages.
3) There is a NVRAM WARNING: Err = 0x10. This is seen in the WIFI networks.

Can u guys assist with a fix for any or all of these? GREAT ROM, would be just perfect if these issues can be resolved.

Sounds like the ROM doesn't support external sd

INSTALLATION:
Put the ROM.zip and the DATA400SYSTEM826_2 Patch on your PHONE STORAGE
Reboot to RECOVERY
In Recovery go to WIPE AND FORMAT OPTIONS
Wipe FORMAT DATA, CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DALVIC CACHE
Then...
*****IMPORTANT*****
Install this DATA400SYSTEM826_2 Patch
After flashing the patch now we can proceed in flashing the rom
INSTALL ZIP then CHOOSE ZIP FROM SD CARD and choose the ROM.zip

DOWNLOAD:
ROM_dimkin_76_TCL_S950_reliz
How do i instal via SP Flash Tools tho? I've used the Flash Tool to instal/re-instal the KitKat ROM (first one) on that post. Do i download the ROM_dimkin_76_TCL_S950_reliz, extract it and follow the steps again, this time use the custpack.img from ROM_dimkin_76_TCL_S950_reliz?

I don't remember flashing dimkin, but I would do this

1. Download the ROM, SPFT, and Philz recovery tool from the link in my SIG. Unzip them into separate folders on your desktop

2. Open SPFT and load the scatter file from the ROM folder.

3. From within SPFT click the custpack line, navigate to the ROM folder and load the custpack file.


4. From within SPFT click the recovery line and load the recovery.IMG from the philz folder

5. Click download and ignore the warning messages. Just continue

6. Wait for the green OK and unplug phone

7. Turn on and you should be good to go.

I have a couple questions though.

That file were supposed to flash before we install room - can it be flashed using Phil's?

And do any of these need to be ported?
