to change the color of the signal bars you have to edit files via any editing software the location is in SystemUI-res/drawable-xxhdpi/ stat_sys_gemini_signal_*_blue, this have 4 files named 1,2,3,4 and you have to edit all of those

How?..i need to extract that SystemUi-res right...than can i edit it using photoshop...then can i just zip that file..rename it to .apk..then push it back...Set permission...can it work...i'm afraid

you can try to pull your systemui-res.apk right click open via winrar/winzip/7zip go to folderres/drawable-xxhdpi/ and search for stat_sys_gemini_signal_*_blue 1,2,3,4. must hack backup in your custom recovery in case something goes wrong and must know how to get out of boot loops

But i Still have a question: what about the 3G. I'm on D.R. and my vendor is CLARO which uses a 850 MHz as a primary frequency.

How can i make the phone to access 3G again?

You need the file /system/firmware modem.img from someone with a ROM that supports your desired frequency (850).

If You have a Idol X with JB 4.2.2, try root the phone and go to the path "Root/Custpack/modem/" copy the modem.img
please share with us this file i need to test to, I have a 1900Mhz Operator in 3G.

I have 6040D which supports 3G 900/2100. I have no problem sharing the file but it doesn't support 3G 850/1900 band.

sorry if i cant share apks, files etc. i am using kitkat for alcatel from mobile upgrade S. maybe some conflicts with jrd apps with 1003. sorry if i can bootloops to some. but i can help modding. right now i am having trouble editing pngs. i want to resize battery icon but there are 200+ files to be resized. any batch resizing apps for png's? thanks

It works!

I placed the modem.img file in the path "root/custpack/modem/" I rename the file to modem_1_3g_n.img set permission to 644, then restart the phone and: HSDPA!
