Any way to change it to a 6040A phone back again so the Alcatel Upgrade tool just take it back to it's original ROM?

I upload the modem.img fron the Alcatel Idol X 6040A with JB 4.2.2 but i don't know how to put in the new Kit Kat beta so if you help us to do that will be great.

It works!

I placed the modem.img file in the path "root/custpack/modem/" I rename the file to modem_1_3g_n.img set permission to 644, then restart the phone and: HSDPA!

The 1st number is Owner, the 2nd is Group, and the 3rd is Other.

What about the reception, I fell like the wifi and 3g reception is less sensitive that before. Do you guys fell it, or it is just me.

Single SIM

I though to share this, in case anyone is using Single SIM version, OT-6040/6040A
This is something I miss from GravityBox.
Every time I boot I have the anoying error "No sim was found on slot 2" or something.
I've successfully removed that error by editing the following entries on build.prop:

dualsim.ui.support=false
is_dual_sim_card=false

I have an error when i replace Settings-res.apk in custpack/JRD_custres/app i can´t access to my display settings and the apk said Unfortunately, settings has stopped. Someone else have this problem??? i can't solve it. Please help me!!

Most likely it is a permission problem. Check if 644 permission is set.
