Custom ROM's and radio updates

In the case that you are running a custom ROM on your device, is the radio only thing that would be useful from the stock image? What about the bootloader? Is there anything else that needs to be updated when a new image is released? Is there any problem with just flashing the latest radio when one is released using fastboot?

No, the bootloader would be very necessary to flash also. You wanna make sure that the BL and radio are the same build ID as ROM or you will run into issues. Trust me..lol

That's fine, it shouldn't cause any issues.

Vendor IMG, bootloader, radio, those are the only ones I can think off of hand that would be useful in any scenario with a custom ROM.
