custom xda community theme?

I don't know if anyone has brought up this idea before, but what do you guys think about a custom xda theme?

Here's the idea.... people post drawables, wallpapers, xml files or what have you, and I or someone else(depending) stick them into a theme. Kinda like a theme request, but more of a community effort.

I have a custom hybrid theme up right now, and although the whole purpose of it is to give back to xda, admittedly it is more or less my custom theme that I edit to suit my needs.

This would require quite some work to maintain, but I can see that many users do not have time to theme or are unable to take the time to learn. This would require contributions fromm some of our more talented artists, as I totally suck at photoshop(change color: yes new image:no).

I think this is a great idea. I have some drawables that i can post when i get home tonight. I will continue to post more of the custom files that i make as i get better with photoshop. Right now i am kind of limited in what i can do with photoshop but i can figure things out fairly easily, so whenever i make something i think looks good i'll be sure to put it here

You guys are welcome to anything Ive created, namely the faded launcher pull tab. I also have some fun .9.pngs that I pulled out of ophone you guys could use.

I say it's a idea idea, mainly because the more themes we have the better off we are. I suck at Photoshop so I can't really contribute anything, but neverless, community theme is a great idea.

Haha well I'm pretty decent at photoshop but suck at theming past stuff thats already been beaten to death. So if someone has an idea they wanna see come out I can def give it a shot.

Hey guys, I haven't forgotten about this. I'm just trying to gauge the interest level for a community theme. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this. Especially things like: if this is community theme, how do we decide what images to use...

Anyhow, I'm keeping an eye on this thread... hopefully more people will get involved.
