Will this work on a Pixel 2 XL w/TWRP 3.2.1.0 (material theme)?

I have installed the zip, but it never launches when selecting the file manager?

The process of "installing" the zip is what launches the file manager. Nothing actually gets installed. Every time you want to launch this file manager, you tell TWRP to install the zip.

There are some modded versions of TWRP. They include something like Aroma FM 3.0, where is this 3.0 ?

Or is it some kind of modification made over 2.0.. ?

where have you seen reference to that? i've seen no Aroma FM v3

You have to take the aroma file manage zip file and rename it to "aromafm.zip". Then you create a folder called "aromafm" which you then move the aromafm.zip file into. Then load the folder onto your phones internal storage, in the top directory where the "Downloads" folder is located (along with pictures, ringtones, etc) there should also be a folder labeled "TWRP" After you install the materialized theme from TWRP recovery there will be a folder called "theme" that will be created automatically inside the TWRP folder. All you have to do is copy the aromafm folder (with the aromafm.zip file inside of it obviously) into the theme folder that can be found in the TWRP folder on the SD. Once you do that, then go to the theme settings section of your TWRP recovery (this only works if you have the material theme installed because its the only theme with the option to make this work without having to flash the aroma zip everytime you want to use it) In that section, just tick the box that says "Use Aroma File Manager...." Once you do that youll be able to access the aroma file manager from the file manager option on the main page of the TWRP recovery.

Knowledge for everyone

Koush (Koushik Dutta) created first custom recovery.
Amarullz created AROMA file manager and also the GUI of AROMA GApps.

Also we know that to create Terminal based programs following Linux command line, we need to learn C (this is the first time I realised that learning only C++ and Java is not enough !).

So developers, lets try to create these type of programs on our own and for the people !

I am trying to use this on a galaxy tab s3 sm-t820. Twrp is landscape and I believe that the tablet thinks it is portrait - but the touches all go to the wrong place. I finally figured out the volume control / power button use and was able to get out of it, but was wondering for a while if I would have to wait for the battery to go dead!
Any thoughts? Is there a setting that I overlooked? (Twrp's file manager is fairly primitive and I would like to have this available instead of falling back to the terminal).

I found that the built-in file manager in recent versions of TWRP is so flexible and good to rely on for the essential copy\cut and set permissions operations. Go on guys and upgrade ur recoveries, because aroma is dead already.

@krishang1234, if you're looking for help, you really need to give us more information. What device are you using, with what Android version, and what recovery? Where did you see the error you mention, and what did you do to get it?
