Got stuck

I was trying to delete a folder using Aroma File Manager but suddenly it stopped working and now I am stuck. I cannot use either the touchscreen or any keys and it just does not response to anything. What should I do?

I try that to the samsung galaxy j5 android 8 without root and simply the aroma file manager from the recovery menu doesn't work at all cause singature verification failed and stop the procedure to install aroma file manager to the mobile phone through recovery menu.


So is there any other way to delete/get rid that pattern lock cause i have try almost everything and after i restart my mobile phone and connected to the internet it ask me the pattern lock so....


I don't have that gmail anymore so i can't even choose forgot pattern lock option.


Please help me.

How To Use?

Copy the zip into your sdcard, then [highlight]reboot your device into recovery mode[/highlight]. Choose install from sdcard, then select the AROMA Filemanager ZIP. The file manager will starting, and you are ready to managing your filesystem (copy, cut, delete, make new folder, etc) while you are in [highlight]recovery[/highlight].​

...the built-in file manager in recent versions of TWRP is so flexible and good to rely on for the essential copy\cut and set permissions operations....

i tend to agree. but, there are times when one needs to copy/paste/delete multiple files and for that i find aroma file manager (afm) much suitable. orangefox recovery still includes this and it works well. i found one aroma.zip file that i could flash in twrp and have afm up and running. however, in recent builds of twrp for my device the contents of /system folder is not visible in afm - even after specifically mounting /system. does anyone know of a way to enable working with /system files after flashing aroma.zip file?

p.s.: i know i'm replying to a post from dec-2018, but, i'd like some help here. thanks, guys. :fingers-crossed:

A hard reboot by 3-Button-Push brings me back to normal working OS, which is latest Havoc 3.6, magisk rooted.

Anyone knows, why this happens?

Can second this, I tried it some months back on my 6T as well & it also froze. IDK what's causing it. It may be possible newer TWRP versions aren't compatible, can anyone else confirm?

Those are just the files that Aroma File Manager creates on first startup. As the name suggests, *.cfg stores the configuration & that *.bmp (bitmap file) seems to be a screenshot, IDK what's the purpose of it.
