CWM backup and restore inquiry.

Hello guys,
I just installed X-Parts from Play Store to get CWM in order to backup my stock ROM so I can start tweaks and scripts and try somethings so if anything goes wrong I will be able to restore through CWM.. I started the Nandroid backup and its size reached 1.9 GBs and it was the full free space in my SD card and I am not sure if the backup is done successfully or not as I started the backup and I went tp sleep.. I just want to know if this size is normal or what ?? Cause I can't believe that the backup will reach this big size.

What do u mean with apps ?? I use a lot of apps.. Games, social apps, root apps and some tools.. Do u mean that it will backup the apps too??

I want to know if it will backup all apps' data on "Internal Memory & SD" or just on "Internal Memory"!? And if it will backup data on both "Internal & SD" so Is there anyway to backup only ROM and data on "Internal Memory"!?

No it will only backup the data in internal memory and sd-ext will be backed up too if you have partitioned your sd.

It fully backs up, so size can reach that much, that's also for stock, cm backups are half the size of stock. :sly:

my backups are nearly 1.5GB all the time

I think you have many apps installed.
Try uninstalling some apps then try to backup.

clear cache and dalvik cache before backup. that will save some more space.
