Make sure that you're flashing the boot.img corresponding to your firmware version, and check the md5hash of the file to make sure the file wasn't corrupted at download or later.
And it's better to disable the internet connection and any antivirus installed on your system while flashing the image through fastboot, just to ensure that the antivirus isn't interfering with the flash process.

I already checked the MD5 of the file, it is OK, just tried flashing without AV and internet connection, no luck either.

Still the same result, phone stalls at the SONY logo unable to enter recovery (LED never turns purple(magenta))

Have anyone succesfully flashed v12 to with 10.4.1.B.0.101?

DRM contents work if Bootloader is unlocked on KitKat?

So, I heard that DRM content (like Bravia Engine 2 and MusicID in WALKMAN) work after unlocking Bootloader but being on KitKat 4.4.2? Please let me know if it's true? Anybody tried?

I want to root my phone without losing these stuff and If I relock Bootloader then root does not work on KitKat (4.4.2). Correct me if I am wrong. :(

you can do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/guide-how-to-root-101-firmware-lb-t2656698

and you will have a locked boot loader with root
