CWM for LG-D855?

I just made up my mind to root my G3, but i can't seem to find CWM recovery for my phone!

no proper custom recoverys available yet.... you can get a CWM .apk recovery but it doesn't seem great, if you wanna just wipe and flash new rom then its fine but being a .apk recovery if you bork your phone its not gonna be much help to you.

Good news TWRP is on the horizon although currently unreleased

I prefer CWM, so i will just have to use an CWM apk until my device is supported.

Can i use this for full nandroid backup?
If i install this cwm is there any impact on my LG G3?

Backup yes, restore no. No impact but for me not useful
