i use faster fix from market.. easier .. no reboots to recovery required ..

As visible on the left side I am from germany.

And I didnt notice ANY difference with us config, europe or germany. It always takes about 15-20 seconds. Even on a hot start of GPS. Pretty strange... Used to have a faster hot fix on other devices..

download faster fix from market and set the ntp server from there..

its simple

dont need the above files..

u guys are just making more annoyance

This is no ignorance, I used to edit it like this too. But with ROM's with an update cycle like MIUI it's quite annoying to change it over and over again. But the effect is indeed the same.

This should work on all android devices. Please report back if not working.

Some files disappeared while signing the zips. It's on the list now.

Yes, not all countries have an NTP server. They are community driven so not all countries are listed. Country closed to you should work.

Qatar should work, on Google Maps it appears to be just over 20 miles.

Good post a very useful app for those that do not self edit the gps.inf file and the majority would not know anything about the file .

To use faster fix with the listed servers or take a custom one?
I need it for Israel, which isnt listed there

Israel is listed. You can flash these with CWM or use faster fix' listed server for Israel. I made the because I flash MIUI at least once a week, and flashing another zip is easier than configuring fasterfix over and over again.
