I flashed Sbl.bin from sgs2 and my phone is dead (black screen and jig-usb does not work)
After this i put jig (still no reaction).,connected to the pc and flashed with success ctock KJ4

The phone does not reboot automatically and I had to press the power button..
Result: counter to 0 (I had the first to 3)
I had to sweat a little

Hmm... flashed 0.2 of your kernel, wifi tethering is not working. same as @netchips kernel.

Trouble getting Superuser working - FIXED

CWM worked great, but I had some trouble getting su to work on my "SIM free" GT-N7000.

ADB shell has su OK, but apps like Titanium Backup and Terminal Emulator would just say "permission denied" and I never saw a Superuser prompt.

I noticed that after I flashed Superuser-3.0.6-efgh-signed.zip, the files were NOT copied into /system (though no errors were reported), so I manually copied them in adb shell and set permissions to 06755. But still it didn't work.

I had to wipe cache and Dalvik cache, then everything worked

WiFi tethering is not working.
It turns on OK. Then the icon in the notification bar disappears.

Other devices (Galaxy Tab 10.1) can connect to the Note's AndroidHotspotnnnn OK.
However there is NO internet connection
- no orange download arrow in the 3G icon on the Note.

nandroid restore did not resolve issue.
CWM v5.0.2.7 is still the recovery.

The attached logcat shows disabling wifi, and enabling hotspot.
All looks OK until:

I compiled my own version from source+cwm.

Is it possible to increase the font size used in CWM? It is so tiny on this 320dpi screen. About 20% bigger would be so much better.

Hi netchip,

your kernel may affect the Mobile Wifi Hotspot. I can not successfully start tethering "error".

A user in another forum says it works fine with stock kernel. Have you any idea what the reason could be?
