Thanks a lot, but I've installed stock firmware and it works fine (except lagging) so I've desided to leave CM maybe until stable CM10.2.Further developments which may help you tomogo... It seems our big brother (the real S4) has the same problem. Its not the WiFi mode/standard that's the problem, its the cipher type for your WiFi password. Obviously, most of us use WPA or WPA2. In the cipher type you have TKIP and AES (or both in AUTO). Make sure it's TKIP only, save your settings and your router will reboot.
I've turned my "N" standard back on and changed my cipher to TKIP only and so far so good.

EDIT: No good. Failed again.... and forced to reboot btw.
EDIT2: G standard with WPA2/TKIP only, seems to have worked for now. Logcat isn't telling me much. Past hour, deep sleep and with some use, still connected to my AP.
Note: Tkip is less safety than AES.
