Further developments which may help you tomogo... It seems our big brother (the real S4) has the same problem. Its not the WiFi mode/standard that's the problem, its the cipher type for your WiFi password. Obviously, most of us use WPA or WPA2. In the cipher type you have TKIP and AES (or both in AUTO). Make sure it's TKIP only, save your settings and your router will reboot.
I've turned my "N" standard back on and changed my cipher to TKIP only and so far so good.
See if it helps you.

EDIT: No good. Failed again.... and forced to reboot btw.

EDIT2: G standard with WPA2/TKIP only, seems to have worked for now. Logcat isn't telling me much. Past hour, deep sleep and with some use, still connected to my AP.
Thanks a lot, but I've installed stock firmware and it works fine (except lagging) so I've desided to leave CM maybe until stable CM10.2.

Note: Tkip is less safety than AES.

Sporadic reboot issue on all stable and nightly versions

There is a nightly released after the stable for I9190...

No idea if it helps but you could always try it...

---------- Post added at 05:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:22 PM ----------

I tried nightly builds of 10.2 and the reboot issue insists going on. What could I have done possibly wrong?

Where should I report bugs with 10.2 Nightlies?

CDMA Galaxy S4 - cm-10.2-20131018-NIGHTLY-jfltevzw.zip
I545VRUAMDK
Inplace upgrade from 10.1.3 to 10.2 Nightly 10/18/2013

1- CM10 installer could not find path to auto downloaded ROM. I had to manually find the ROM and select it.
2- Play Store was gone. I manually installed 4.3.11 APK, but it says "No connection". Clearing cache did not help.
3- Chome crashes repeatedly. No Play Store to download latest version.
4- GPS goes not work at all.

1. These discussion threads are for the S4 Mini. Are you sure you are using the S4 Mini LTE (serranoltexx) device?
2 - 3. You probably didn't flash the latest GApps after flashing the new rom.
4. You must wipe your cache and data after moving between major Custom Rom editions. To do that, go into Recovery mode.

Hi!

First of all, thank you @arco68! Very nice alpha like everyone else says. :)

I don't know if I've done something or I just don't know how to do it but is it possible to move apps from phone to the Sdcard?
Also, I bought a cheap S-view cover from china but the phone doesn't react when I open and closes the cover. Bad cover or is this because of Cyanogen?

Thanks!
Yeah, this phone definitely needs option to install apps on external SD card. It has got only 5GB of storage more or less.

Question: Should I install some kernel? Because the battery drain is still quite heavy, at least it is worst than Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S2. Also worst than crappy iPhone 4S I had.

It seems that if you manually set the level of brightness, the phone in the pocket put it to the lowest level and you have to adjust it again.
Is it possible to describe in greater detail?

Was the screen on when you put it in your pocket? How long was the phone in your pocket?

Which version are you on? I can't reproduce this by setting the manual brightness on the quick settings panel.

I use the 10.1stable.
Screen was off. No cover, no flip-case, just the phone.
It happened 2 times the same day. The phone was in the back pocket of the pants for at least one hour.

---!!!--IMPORTANT--!!!------ I remembered that I was sitting on the phone for at least 5 minutes

Now I set it to the auto to see what happens. Tomorrow I will try to reproduce it by setting again manual the brightness.

sporadic reboot issue

Guys, I got back to official samsung TW rom. There wasn't any reboot issue. This means, it's not caused by a faulty device issue. Then I started to tinker with nightly builds of serrano3gxx. There are reboots again but no so much as in the 'stable' release of 10.1.3.1… That's all for now.

Please provide a logcat after the reboot to see what caused it!

Is it a know issue that the notification light doesn't work? I've installed 10.1 and it doesn't work nor does there seem to be the notification settings page.

I can't find any mention of it either after some searching.
This is on a i9195.

Finally popped my cherry and flashed 10.1 stable

But I'd like to know what's eating my storage?

Or what am I missing?
