So,

As the title says, a working version of CM has been spotted by mr blurrycam (blurry probably as he couldn't contain his excitment) running on the beloved Note 3 and I had thought I'd do some market research lol

  1. Will you be rooting the device?
  2. Will you be installing CWM?
  3. Will you be installing CM or are you happy with TW?

Let me know what you think

With all this KNOX crap in OFW, I won't even buy it until CM is available!

I have been refreshing xda daily (FAR too much) ever since eating my device nearly 2 weeks ago, today has made me so much happier! I've rooted and got X note on, but just imagine CM....... The potential to unlock more ram, lightning fast response and hopefully in time I'd love to see Sentinel Rom from Note 2 make its way here, that thing flew on that device and battery life was great!

I'm more interested in the PAC versions as it seems to be my ROM of choice because of the custom dpi settings.
Agreed though there is a lot more stuff you can do to CM, only thing that might be missing will the Pen Stuff (I do use it you know), but i've seen devs produce some amazing stuff so quite looking forward to that.

Yeah the loss of the Samsung apps will put some people off, but for me, i absolutely cannot wait and love the pure, unbloated, lightweight, fast experience along with the great themes that are available!

I know I messed up my warranty with the hope that somebody on xda will be able to fix it in the future ... somehow.
You are not alone. :)
But I'm prepared to live with the consequences. After all I wanted this device so bad, I couldn't have imagined not to root it and there's no other device out there that I could have gone with.
I hope Samsung will not shoot herself in the leg though. I am the minority here and you don't want to piss your customer base off. Especially the loyal one. ;)

I will flash this and finally lose my knox warranty for it. Just will wait till its somewhat stable enough
Only thing I hope and pray they work on is the camera.
Even my nexus 4 shot better photos with stock vs cm. I am not expecting note 3 Feature just a better quality than what I have seen before with cm

after upgrading to note3 from note2, the only thing i really miss is paranoid android (hybrid properties/pie/halo). i wouldn't mind cyanogenmod as my first custom rom.

and yes i am already rooted, flashed custom recovery, tripped knox counter. in short, f'd up. ;)

It would be nice if they can make dual boot. I do love a lot of the features on tw

that would be the icing on the cake lol.
on note2 I was dualbooting (obviously devil kernel) with paranoid android as my primary & wanamlite (touchwiz) as my secondary.
