no updates on wifi yet or bug fixes?
well thx for your work. will spend a big beer when its ready for daily driver.
There have been changes to his github repo, just no new builds. I have compiled a more recent build and am waiting to hear back from my friend about whether or not it works. I assume it's not ready since there hasn't been a new build posted here yet.

Any word on this project? Not asking for an ETA or anything crazy like that. Just wondering if its still in progress. Thanks!

Sent from my HTC One mini using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Edit: NM I see recent changes in the github repo.

I just wanted to say thank you for your work.

I have not tested it yet but that is because I need my phone 7 days a week so I can't do a test install :)

What ya got left to do? Lemme know if you need a hand. Gettin antsy.lol
Most likely if you could help you could tell what's left from the assorted repos I posted a page or so ago. It's tough being patient but if you consider how he is doing this it will all pay off in the end (we should get updated to new releases more or less in step with the m7).

The reason why this is taking longer is because I'm rebasing this onto a CAF kernel. This will future-proof this device. I'm currently dealing with some WiFi ramdisk-side configurations then still figuring out TX audio being busted and then camera. I will release another build once the audio is fixed. If you can't use a phone as a phone, I'm not releasing a build :). Also trying to fix the m4 recovery for SELinux capability.

I'm as impatient as you guys...something has to give on this audio issue...

Update: WiFi working, Camera almost working, TX audio still busted. Also shaved about 5-7 seconds off of boot time (due to crummy errors and warnings in kmsg).

Hopefully more progress on camera then audio for the slam dunk :).

What's the difference between cm11 and magio r5? Is it that magio is sense based? The magio ROM is huge but the install experience in the new twrp is absolutely amazing! Especially with all the options you can configure. Why can't the settings and configs from magio be used in cm?

OEM-based ROMs are huge and very patched together. ROMs like CyanogenMod or Omni which are compiled from source are much leaner and rely more on user-installable apps for any really specific features.

The next Magio (by tr1gg3r84) will be de-sensed with bloatware removed, and will weigh in at around 400MB..... CM is more AOSP, build from the ground up - for CM11 on the One Mini, think of it like taking your Acer Windows XP laptop, wiping completely (BIOS, OS etc) then building it to Windows 8 without any system software, drivers etc. Kudos to @h8rift
as it's a tough job and hard work..... :)

Re the Aroma installer - it is sweet, allowing customisation at the base install level, giving you control of what you want/don't want included rather than spending hours customising your ROM after install.... Kudos to @tr1gg3r84 for giving the user the choice! :D
