CyanogenMod 11.0 for Samsung Galaxy Mini 2

Notice:
Because the ROM is only tested on GT-S6500D, only this variant of Mini 2 is supported by me (since I only have this variant of Mini 2).
Functionality can be broken on other variants.

The ROM theoretically can be installed on:

  • GT-S6500
  • GT-S6500D
  • GT-S6500L

Notice 2:
Uploading my files elsewhere (mirroring) is not appreciated.
If you need to add my files somewhere else, just post the link to my goo.im account.

Disclaimer:
If you have decided to install this ROM on your device, TheWhisp cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your phone and/or for any other kind of inconveniences.

What's not working:

* Camera
* Native screen recording

I am rebuilding. Since SELinux is now set to enforcing on kitkat, FM had some problems, so it won't be available in this release yet. Consider this as a preview release

Some notes:

1) If you decide to use ART:
* It will increase the size of your apps
* Updating from one release to another will take quite a time (since all apps needs to be rebuilt)
* Performance increase is barely noticeable
* It is still in beta

2) How to get kitkat goodies: edit build.prop, change ro.config.low_ram to false

The phonr will be lag

    there is some progress with camera. I have kept all ION heaps and added pmem_adsp for camera. This means that everything else except camera should use ION. Downside of this is that basically there are 2 heaps where only 1 should be used - pmem_adsp (for camera) and camera heap (video encoding/decoding) This means that there will be about 10-18MB less RAM available to the kernel (depends on how much pmem_adsp needs).

    However, our old camera blobs still crashes. If this can be solved, both camera and camcorder should work.
    11
    today I finally found the source for libcamera. but it has 7 proprietary headers so I guess it is impossible to build it without them

    edit: this is the repo: https://www.codeaurora.org/cgit/quic/la/platform/vendor/qcom/android-open/log/?h=gingerbread_rel
    I suppose sending an email to Qualcomm would be pointless.
    11
    then port it if you need, f'ing kids these days..
