After using CM for 2 weeks I've found many bugs like:

Battery Life ( until the last update ) scared me a bit.

Lockscreen gets bugged when SPen is out and the screen go in standby while playing clash of clans.

Wi-Fi connection seems not to be stable at all especially while playing online.

Bluetooth won't connect the phone with my Pioneer BT-Unit for calling and receiving calls. Playing music is the only thing I can do over BT. ( DIAMOND ROM allows me even to sync contacts with the BT unit).

Google Camera's autofocus won't work at all. In fact I am not really sure if it's camera related or just the image gallery app sucks. Gonna check it out on my PC and report back.

Stock Camera app, after installing Google camera, says "impossible to open camera" when I tap the icon.

I am Using CM11 with stocck and then agni kernal for around 2 months and haven't faced any such issues yet.
Got the antutu benchmark score upto 27k + which is again the best I got for any rom.
Battery life is not amongst the best but still way better than stock.
wifi signals :- I am too facing issues with low wifi signals in locations where devices like Intex aqua(cheap chainess crap) are able to
find signals. But the connection is stable and I am not loosingthe connectivity at all.
No lags while Playing games. games like NFS msw which used to lag a bit in stock are running super smoonth.
The only is so far is sometimes while waking it up from sleep (Unlock screen) the systemui.apk crashes and I have to unlock the phone
again. If I don't use a lock screen it doesn't happen.

Please don't take it is as a bad comment.

As they say every note 2 is different.

if you install the kernel first and then the rom, the kernel (agni) will be replaced with the cm11 default kernel again, which happens each time you flash a new nightly or any rom. so the kernel to be installed has always to be flashed AFTER the rom and not before.
.
Thanks for the correction mate.
My apologies for the same .
Yes you have to flash the rom than reboot and than flash agni.

yup

a) yes first of all there are the qualcom and the exynos variants and the exynos variants work worse on my roms
than the much older sgs2 and note1. i will never buy a device with an exynos chip set again, not until it's widely agreed upon
that they are on standards with the qualcomms, while of course aosp roms are for nexus and nexus work with qualcomms :)

not a correction, just another little hint:
if you are using a kernel tweaking app which has some or all settings set on boot, you should not flash rom and reboot and
flash kernel thereafter because depending on rom and app it could be that the app tries to set something which the default rom-kernel
does not have and put you in trouble. worst case but rare would be bricking the phone while bootloops can happen more often while in
most cases the app juts runs empty with it's task, means nothing happens. but as mentioned there is an unnecessary risk.

normaly you flash all in one, rom, kernel, superSU if that's the chosen way and eventually overwritten system apps ( user apps that have been turned into system apps ) xposed if use and/or helper apps that have to be system apps and are overwritten upon rom-flashes.

Updated the ROM, powered up the phone and the UI crashed :).

Gonna change ROM. Let me know when it will be fully working or at least working.

what do you think, that only you would post that the rom does not work. if it would be a rom issue the web would be full of similar posts.

however, this rom is installed on 6 out of 7 of my devices including n7100 ( for others see my signature ) and works flawlessly for many many months with small known bugs in the past which have
always been resolved within short time. of course you can change the rom, perhaps even a more pleasant experience for all others, but you could as well try to find the real culprit instead of posting pure frustration without even considering that it's something on your side and therefore trying to solve the issue which i can promis is on your side.

what ever it is, i update my n7100 to each nightly including today's nightly and it works as good as can be.

How to fix wallpaper bug.. Sometime i change and it goes black only

Sent from my GT-N7100 using XDA Free mobile app
On the launcher ? Or lockscreen ?

On launcher you could just try selecting a pic from gallery.
If you mean the lockscreen, go to Themes -> Lockscreen wallpaper , and press remove.

CM11:

battery life is worse,
1. maybe it is because s-pen digitizer is still working even though we insert the pen, Greg from CM11 Jira told me to try this
Code:
echo 1 > /sys/class/sec/sec_epen/epen_saving_mode
2.maybe it is because we don't have Samsung DVFS(Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling),that is why we face lots of music jitter, and performance jitter also worse battery performance.

the best battery life for Note 2 in my opinion is 4.3 TW rom with some modification:
Devil kernel
Undervolt -100mv
abb +100
not everyone can use that settings though.

edit:
I can clearly reproduce the can't find camera problem:
1. download google camera not the stock cm11 camera from google play store
2.open google camera
3.press home button
4.open google camera again not by task manager but from trebuchet or google now launcher whichever is your default launcher
5.you can see can't find camera.

edit2:
I don't have bluetooth problem, tested with BMW and Mazda car bluetooth.

i don't really know what kind of comment you are having in mind. the only thing i can say that i'm using this rom from day one it was available and except the few known hickups which happen from time to time in nightlies, had only one issue for longer and that was the bluetooth issue which i found my own workaround und thus consider as solved for me, but isn't really ( have tried recently, still there )

however as you are quoting battery issues, i simply don't have them. i go to bed fully chared and when i touch my device the first time in the morning i have something between 1-3% less after 8-10 hours idle. i consider this perfect and far from calling the rom a battery hog. these things are in the configuration and usage pattern of the users and solutions have to be found for each case separately.

i recommend to use tasker, amplify, profiles in system settings and greenify in the right setup and would start with a clean install.

format everyting and start from scratch. if someone says that this is too much work than either his drain is not thaaatttt... big or it's not important enough. of course complaining is easier haha.... but this rom itself is good on battery, this is proven if only some users don't have problems of that kind. after all if a software is a battery hog it is it always and if it's not always it's not the sofware but the setup and config, meaning other apps, settins and combo of those things.

i personally was working for over a year on the battery front to get a stable result on all my devices. stable means that i can buy any device, install my favourite rom and apps, set it up and it will and with the usage mentioned above, while of course what it achievable depends partly on radio signal strenght, cell as well as wifi, number of accounts syncing, what is syncing and other factors. as mentioned each of us has to find his optimum and find a specific setup which once applied is at or close to that optimum result in relation to usage and the above mentioned factors.

Hmm I own two Samsung Smart Cafe stores in my town. I have already tried the things you told long back with four different Note 2's but in vain. Hence I decided to give up. Was just quoting you for others.

if you like tell me about your problem in detail and as much as you can about your config so to perhaps find a solution for you. i mean i use this rom on 6 out of 7 devices and battery drain is not one of the flaws with any of them.

so i will gladly assist with this a bit more specifically related to your configuration if you like, but then i need a lot of info, can post a file for me to download. just perhaps this might be interesting for others, so use attached files or containers to not fill pages, but still make the content available to others.

else should you definitely have given up, ok, main thing is that you have a well running Note ll :)

Profiles issue?

I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue or if I am missing something obvious

I have 3 volume profiles set up through cm

Night: Alarm 7/7, all other volumes 0, ring mode Mute, no other settings altered
Uni: All volumes set to 0, ring mode vibrate, no other settings altered
Home, all volumes max, no other settings altered

when I change from one profile to "Uni" the media volume does not change and neither does alarm volume
e.g. from home to uni, media volume will remain at 15/15 and alarm at 7/7
and from night to Uni, alarm will remain at full
ringtone, notifications and ring mode change fine and changing from night to home works fine, it just appears to be the uni set up as an exact replica under the same name achieves the same results

any suggestions? :)
