ROM seems to be ok, but Encryption still does not work, even after Wipe.
Even tried "fastboot format userdata" which helped on my Wileyfox Swift.

Will check if it works with official CM11 nightly.

i'll work with you on this moving forward, after inclusion in to CM for 12.1 daily builds.

That would be awesome. I recently bought this tablet as a used device for two reasons: Keyboard-Dock + CM12.1
I want to take it with me on my trips to different countries and really need the encryption.

Just tell me if you need me to do something.

Just for reference: Encryption is no problem on latest official CM11 nightly.

After the first nightly gets built for 12.1, try encryption then post logs (kernel and logcat) and I'll try to make some time soon'ish to look at it. Thx.

After the first nightly gets built for 12.1, try encryption then post logs (kernel and logcat) and I'll try to make some time soon'ish to look at it. Thx.

Installed latest nightly from get.cm including the recovery. Did a full wipe before that.
Booted the tablet, set lockscreen PIN and hit the button "encryption". Tablet reboots, stays on boot animation forever.
Restarted the tablet via power-button long press.

Then i collected the logs via adb.

Since I use the Official Nightly (02-02) my `disable touchpad` button on my keyboard doesn't work anymore.
My touchpad is now always enabled.
I don't use the touchpad and when I move over it, a mousepointer appears on the screen.

I'm enjoying getting my updates through the settings menu. Thanks pershoot for getting us to official status and maintaining this device. Thankful I don't have to deal with all the stock Asus stuff.

Hows the latest build going.. I think I am maybe a few behind now..

Only problem I see so far is that it is holding to many apps in cache so when it is put to sleep feeling a little sluggish to fire up..

Fix is to hit resents kill all apps on wake up..frees up and does its thing..

Shame we don't have a kernel guru playing around for us.. I am sure we re missing out on a bit of the benefits that could be unlocked..

My understanding the Asus has not released kernel code for the community to play with?

Is there another device with same specs?

I would give up batt time for a little more ability to crank this device up a little.. It's got the CPU..and we know lower grade memory that gives us pain..but overall..not a bad device
