I would not buy a device knowing you can't unlock bootloader.

After i bricked a LG G3 I go an axon 7 mini in my hands. Pretty happy so far, but i today happened something.
An update went it, i enabled developer options and i can see one that says ¨Enable bootloader unlocking¨, so we might be able to unlock the bootloader somehow?
BTW in the description it said that the update was to get ready our phones for the Nougat android update.

Any news?

Hello! As I know, unlocking the bootloader is the same story as the original Axon 7. Is not the classic "fastboot OEM unlock". As for now, the N update is in beta. We truly need the help from the developers, for unlocking the bootloader and ROMs.

There's no spare devices at the moment. Technically I'm just waiting on a device I can obtain a build of N to work with from the R&D team as well as the kernel source to do the bring up. Not sure if anyone wants to provide a device or not I was going to wait on ZTE. Bootloader unlock etc will come as soon as I can obtain one. For now they don't see a community large enough to provide such things. Not enough request are being made 10-20 people isn't enough to make things happen.

Any update on obtaining a device?

I have adb and drivers in place to mess with mine, but I haven't messed with this kind of thing in about 2 years, if you give me a sting of commands that can get the image pulled I would be happy to do so and send it to you as long as it doesn't have a chance to brick anything.

I tried to connect via adb, but since I have forgotten how to use adb it doesn't see my device when I put it in EDL mode. (at least I think I got it into EDL)
