thanks for ur reply man :laugh:

but i what i get from link is : how to make my vendor with mkvendor.sh tool and i made it good
and can't understand how to make device_tree :eek:
Just go to github, download device tree close to your phone, then modify to your phone specs and use it.

You have a mt6582 they are all about the same, so any mt6582 device tree will work for you as a base.

Here you go.

really thank you sir
but 1 last Q
what i need to modify to my phone specs ??
like what ??

and thanks at all
That you have to determine on your own, just use tree as it is for now.

Just start with basic stuff, name, mount points, path.

Once you know more about your device you can then customize the tree, but the tree as is should work for you.

Im having some problems on mine (darkmoon) with the new LP 3.10 kernel also
cm12.1 on 3.10.54 Kernel boots up (with new blobs of course, and small changes on device)
Cameras are fine (well the front is still flipped, but, i didn't had time to re-compile the changes), but they will FC after some time on "preview".
Plus, still having some issues with the LP sensors...
But, i have no time for this device...

Fix it yourself...and please do re-read what we talked about this matter.

cheers

Hey can you please give me the link of cm12.1 on 3.10.54 kernel

Hello!

My first build attempt for CM12.1 (MT6592).

My result was exactly the same as the one reported HERE by @NepoRood.

Been trying to read the next posts to find a solution but didn't understand exactly what to do.

HERE, it's stating that the build went ok.

So, what have you done? Changed the policy? Commented that line? Removed the app? Used a pre-built SetupWizard apk?

Thank you for your attention.

Cheers!

Cloned all fire855 public repos, with his authorization.
(search ElTifo on github).

Adapt them to my device, except the ones that I think are the same for all MTK

Created a new Linux machine from scratch, had to do a repo sync, obviously.

Searched already and know there's a patch, just didn't find it yet.

Don't need what, exactly?

Sorry for the noobish question but what do you mean about "branching issues"?

I've spent the last week making all changes on my cloned repos. What kind of issues should I have noticed?

I'm trying to build CM12.1 just for testing purposes and to familiarize myself with this.

My goal is CM13 but that will have to wait, for now.

Anyway, could you look into my giuthub and see what could be wrong?

CM12.1 branch, of course.

Friends.
Who would want to get CyanogenMod
mt6582 on stock kernel 3.10.54
I opened site http://dee3000.ru
also posted a link to the project

Online describes all errors will be glad to listen to any proposals to remedy them.
So now it's OK to build from your github sources and release for other devices? I already built for my energy x plus.

Been using it for a week now, very good rom.

Yes, you can if you want, github source is meant to be used by anyone, had the uploader not wanted people to use it, he could have made it private, look forward to seeing the rom.

For the setup wizard thing, I just removed the app, and a couple others that I didn't need for the tablet. As far as building a complete ROM, I never accomplished that. I've moved on to other devices (ie: non-mediatek) sorry I can't help

@Typhus_ I think you only have to sync your source and also update the repos which you cloned from my github. They don't contain the newest cm changes.

Hey guys, We are going to try something new for our china phones - cyanogenmod.

But we need some more devs to get everything going.

    For now we have:

-Github tree for Lenovo P700i(mediatek 6577, android 4.0.4, kernel 3.0.8)

-Lens_flare - original port author(may work with system folder and configs)

-some kernel source from other devices like liquid gallant

The main problem is getting adb to work that could help a lot on remaining development. For now even zygote not starting, but all partitions seems mounted successfully.

We need more devs (especially that could assemble working kernel for device), working with p700i may lead to following porting for other mtk devices, as sources are nearly the same.

    Lollipop on MT6577

    Hi there .

Just to let you know, that lollipop is now booting on ZTE v970 [MT6577- w/ ComBo-Chip MT6620]
With my custom 3.4.67 KK Kernel + some cherry-picks from the new MTK 3.10.54 LL Kernel

Still very early, baseband is recognized , but still needs a lot more work on Telephony, Platform, etc.

    ;)
