I have BMA250 and KXTJ2_1009 in projectconfig and i2c. Tested only BMA250 and no result(but stock rom respond that i have bma250 sensor, but i can't believe to chinese roms because in 20151215 firmware i have b080uan lcm, but in 20160218 i have he080ia lcm). I think i need to disassemble stock kernel to find out my sensors)

Code:
I/6620_launcher(    0): Can't open device node(/dev/stpwmt) error:-1
is likely the problem, thus ccci_fsd cannot start. You have to fix that permission problem :) Quick workaround: delete ccci_fsd and ccci_mdinit.

Ok, I try it and tell results

ahhh yeah i know now what you mean ...

Some OEMs are doing this these days, using (changing) the real sensor names and the prints ...

Damn, these guys ...

Cheers

Any publicly accessable repo for that or one I can have a look at somehow?

For now.. no, but, this one doesn't really depend on me alone.

It's not my decision really.

Cheers

Not work. Stuck on animation(same log but without ccci part)

Make sure your initramfs is like this :

Code:
mknod /dev/stpwmt c 190 0;
mknod /dev/stpgps c 191 0;
mknod /dev/stpbt  c 192 0;
mknod /dev/fm     c 193 0;
chmod 0660 /dev/stpwmt
chown system system /dev/stpwmt
chmod 0660 /dev/wmtdetect
chown system system /dev/wmtdetect

Õther then this , needs a better look ...

I dont know very well the new tree your using ..

cheers

Hi guys. I'm trying to build twrp for an MT6795 device. I had been able to build it on prebuilt stock kernel, but touchpad was deactivated. I found out the lines to comment out into touchpad driver, and then decided to build on kernel source. I'm a little bit confused:
I know that for Mediatek device, after normal building, it needs to add an header to both ramdisk and kernel (making it an uImage for Uboot bootloader, if I'm not wrong). But how many ways are there to accomplish that?
- Is standard mkbootimg able to add the headers? Perhaps in conjunction with flags BOARD_USES_UBOOT := true and BOARD_KERNEL_IMAGE_NAME := uImage ?
- Do I need an external image maker like TARGET_MKIMAGE := $(LOCAL_PATH)/mkimage?
- The argument passed to mkbootimage through BOARD_MKBOOTIMG_ARGS are necessary for mkimage too?
- What's the meaning of these flags, and when I have to use them: BOARD_CUSTOM_BOOTIMG, TARGET_USE_BUILT_BOOTIMAGE?

Thanks in advance to anybody will take the time to reply.

That is not needed anymore on newer 67xx SoCs as far as I know.

Are you sure? When I used prebuilt kernel, without mkimage it didn't boot. And redmi note 2 (Hermes) tree that use the same board and prebuilt kernel use mkimage too.

Well then you gave yourself the answer and I was wrong. ;) Maybe it is an Elephone thing, sorry. At least for the MT6753 I develop for (built into an Elephone P8000) does not need it. I also just saw that jianminglok who has some 6795 repos uses mkimage as well, so sorry for my misinformation!

    Hey guys, We are going to try something new for our china phones - cyanogenmod.

    But we need some more devs to get everything going.

    For now we have:

    -Github tree for Lenovo P700i(mediatek 6577, android 4.0.4, kernel 3.0.8)

    -Lens_flare - original port author(may work with system folder and configs)

    -some kernel source from other devices like liquid gallant

    The main problem is getting adb to work that could help a lot on remaining development. For now even zygote not starting, but all partitions seems mounted successfully.

    We need more devs (especially that could assemble working kernel for device), working with p700i may lead to following porting for other mtk devices, as sources are nearly the same.

    Lollipop on MT6577

    Hi there .

    Just to let you know, that lollipop is now booting on ZTE v970 [MT6577- w/ ComBo-Chip MT6620]
    With my custom 3.4.67 KK Kernel + some cherry-picks from the new MTK 3.10.54 LL Kernel

    Still very early, baseband is recognized , but still needs a lot more work on Telephony, Platform, etc.

    ;)
