Cyanogen's official C-Apps zip package brings CyanogenOS apps on cyanogenmod ROMs

This is interesting! Cyanogen released their own install zip, called c-apps, that you can use to drop the proprietary CyanogenOS apps like the themers and the new (hated) dialer on a cyanogenmod ROM. I tested on my sultanxda/caf 12.1 and everything works.

Many CM community users may be familiar with Cyanogen OS, the certified commercial version that comes preloaded on retail smartphones such as the OnePlus One, WileyFox, ZUK Z1, Andromax Q, and YU branded devices.

Cyanogen OS includes a variety of apps and services that leverage CyanogenMod’s open platform. As CM users, these apps were previously unavailable to you unless you bought a Cyanogen OS powered retail phone. Starting today, we’re announcing the release of the Cyanogen Apps Package (C-Apps).

C-Apps is being offered as an optional download and will not be preinstalled on CyanogenMod releases. This package will allow you to take your existing devices running CM 12.1, and make them more like the Cyanogen OS experience. The latest version of CM 12.1 is required for C-Apps to run properly.

Download and wiki instructions are located at the bottom of this post. The following features are included in the initial C-Apps Package:

Theme Chooser with per-app theming
Theme Store
AudioFX
Cyanogen Accounts
Gallery
Dialer with TrueCaller integration
Email powered by Boxer

Guess it misses that weird browser fork though, so far.

copy both folders themechoser and themestore folders from zip and place them in /system/priv-app folder and change permission to rw-r-r

.zip works great on temasek 18.3 CAF only thing I changed was putting the original dialer back in place after flashing.

Tried it in sultans cm13. Don't bother flashing it,dialer(calls,incoming outgoing is buggy) won't work.

after installing this zip package I can't answer the phone and make call! why? what can I do to solve this problem?

Check phone settings and app settings ( Truecaller ) on that package , if you installed full zip it includes Truecaller / dialer on it , did it replace your original phone / dialer apps or does it give you option to pick your default phone / dialer apps? I would reboot and check settingsr and in privacy guard on new app Truecaller and go from there, again not familar with True caller but since its replacing original app , reboot , check all settings applicable ,default and privacy guard as well, may have to alter permissions on new app . that was the only reason why I flashed it... and they removed it... how nice.

Does anyone have an older version with Boxer included? I had a zip with just boxer from another thread in XDA but I can't remember where!

just want the theme apps
anyone got the same problem with me??

NB:
1. I've flashing the universal them but it has no theme store
2. Already install (also manual push) theme store but wont open (did i miss something??)
