D5103 changed simcard reader still cannot detect simcard !!!

i tried reprogram update software still insert simcard..
then i changed simcard reader still no luck...
help anybody needed simcard line diagram...

I had same problem with T3 but it is problem with nano sim cards (that turns nano SIM (combined with adapter) to micro sim)!Card needs to be micro SIM without adapter !My operator delivers only 3 in 1 sim cards and every time it was problem in nano sim +adapter it just doesnt work with that design!SIM needs to be pure MICRO SIM!Ask your operator to Issue you one pure micro sim and you will have working xperia!

I hav same problem. cim card slot changed and it's the same. sim card is detected but no signal only alarm calls. any solution?

Must be pure microsim without adapter.

It is. It was ok for a year.

My sim card work in other phones. Id this phone none of 5 sim cards work so it's not sim card

My SIM(nano +adapter)was working on 3 other phones but not on T3 eventually changed to MICRO SIM and working no problem at all!It is voltage problem in Sony phone SIM consume different voltage!

I have the same problem. Sim card is not detected. I tried several sim cards, even the suggestion here to use a regular micro sim (not the nano+adapter). All failed even though these sim cards work on other phones. I noticed though that when I removed the sim, the phone could detect the removal and it said something like 'sim card removed, restarting phone' and the phone restarted. However, it could not detect whenever a sim is inserted.

Btw, I got this T3 as a prize for some promotion. It's brand new but it's a demo unit.
