You meant after flashing or restore nandroid,V4 worked? I never tried V4 so eager to know.
I am using ftf 472 for Australia, and tried everything that I find to solve this issue. None solved. Every time I tried a solution, I need to flash "/system" again. Finaly I installed dual recovery V4 ( based on 470 ), and have everithing working now.

If i just flashed V2 using fastboot (after just unlocking my bootloader) would it work or is there an alternate way to flash this. I am presuming just bootloader unlocking should do here and root is probably not required

Need some help. I flashed this kernel yesterday and was able to get my device up. I tried adding an apk to the /system/app and the device boot loops now. I have tried factory resetting, cache cleaning but nothing works. I tried PC companion to flash a new ROM but it refuses saying the software is manipulated. Anyone could post the stock kernel please so that i can restore the factory image.

@Abhinav - i finally was able to flash the entire thing using the flashtool. Could you help understand if this kernel, apart from offereing dual recovery, does it help in making the device more responsive, like no lags or better performance etc.

Advance thanks

Also works on Xperia m2, been using this recovery and the NDR util app from the playstore since 5.1 update was released. Not modified it in any way.
