@slipsystem

Is there a fix for this root problems mentioned.

On Stock I have no rooting problems with xposed modules.
Hey guys it may take a bit of time but I am working on an update that will fix the root issue.

So just an update.

I have started building from scratch but I am having trouble pin pointing the bases of the issue.

Xposed seems to not have permission to mount the system even though the phone has root access. I found that by just unlocking the bootloader everything works fine. With is pointing me in the direction that xposed cannot install on locked bootloaders, what is raising a question mark for me is that I was told that xposed was working before installing this rorom. If the problem was due to the bootloader being locked it should not work on Stock ether. I have however found that by flashing exposed threw recovery fixes the issue but is not ideal ( install xposed and change install method the manual recovery)

At this point I cannot see how this is not a problem on Stock.

Later on today I will be flashing the stock rom and see if I get any issues. Sorry for the delay guys but I use the phone for business and I need to make sure I have all the info of my client's before wiping data.

I will try fix the issue asap.

And correct me if I am wrong, by stock you mean original ftf and rooted with giefroot. It seems that gief root does something extra beside pushing su to the device but also makes root able to mount system, where as just flashing su doesn't.

After researching a bit in found that the stock flushable zip does the same thing with no modifications.

I will test in the morning but I think running giefroot after flashing this Rom will fix the issue.

On stock you either have to disable sony's RIC (Which prevents system from getting mounted) by terminal commands or nut's recovery, maybe the problem is due to ric not getting disabled properly :)

I followed this

cheers

PS. I don't think you can run giefroot v3 on firmware 23.0.1.A.5.77...you have to downgrade first to get root.....your ROM is 23.0.1.A.5.77?

OK so I gave it a shot. It told me that the device is not supported so I removed the support check. It didn't fix the problem but I now know that it is a problem with the latest firmware. I will make a separate zip for the previous version. So you can decide whether you want the latest firmware with mostly functional root or the previous version with fully functional root.

I'd like to stay on latest firmware 23.0.1.A.5.77 with fully functional root.
If you cant fix no probs, I'll just stay on Stock.
Cheers

My BL is unlocked, but I had some root issues with this rom before I flashed the package I linked to.
