I haven't had too much time to test properly, the wife is nagging as usual!

However, sound appears clearer and louder. Also, stereo sound works with phone calls. :D

Thanks pricey2009. :good:

The sound is unbelievable!! Finally I can get greater sound out of my device. Thank you very much OP!

Just a quick question though. Has there been any optimization done to the clearaudio+ option? When I turn it on and off while playing music, I definitely hear a difference. Is the purpose to have it on with the mod or are the other options more superior?
My question to @pricey2009 what is your setup? Do you have clearaudio+ on or off? Having it on, does it disable xLoud?

I have it on or off depending on what im listening to/watching..

It enables all the xloud, clearphase, HTC beats effects etc all at once to enhance the sound.

Different people have different preferences so just experiment with the settings and eq until you are happy :)

I have a quick question. In the Audio settings, there is ClearAudio+ and sound effects. When opening sound effects, we have clear stereo, clear phase & xLOUD settings. When enabling all options, Clear Phase keeps getting disabled, is that normal?

When listening to music and changing various effects, I don't seem to get any. What would be the best options to choose to test if it's properly working? At the moment, the only effect I can notice is the use of stereo speakers when using loud speaker in a phone call.

Loudspeaker is definitely louder and clearer. It's only when using earphones to listen to music I don't seem to hear any difference when selecting and unselecting different options...

What do you suggest I do with regards to setting options and a way to test if the options are working properly?

If I select ClearAudio+ then sound effects is automatically disabled. However, when disabling ClearAudio+ and going to sound effects, they are enabled. Can I not use both?

Hey guys this is my mod I created for Z3C - I have had confirmation it works on Z3 so thought I would share with you here also.

    Please test and provide feedback?

    Thanks!

Thanks for your quick reply pricey!

I've just flashed the latest V3.1 update and finally I can feel a difference!

Sound is definitely louder, clearer and there is more treble!

Also, dolby is finally working, it is visible in the app menu and launches without issues.

    Well done! :good:

Great, thanks for confirming - we are getting closer to a final edition of this mod then!
Once this project is complete and working for all, I am planning to create a close-to-stock ROM with a bucket load of mods .. stay tuned
    4
Whilst the Dolby app does make a difference, I feel the quality is reduced and the sound is too boomy. Sound is far better and clearer with Dolby turned off.

That said, turning on the Dolby effect heavily increases the volume. This is good should the source have low audio output or simply not loud enough. However, the sound is more boomy and muffled.

Personally I think the mod is perfect without the need of having Dolby.

Right OK I think I've made my mind up, Dolby will now be removed again and I will post a V4 shortly - this will be the last update for this mod.
Then I can start work on my new ROM..

EDIT: v4 is now up, this is the last update for this mod (sorry about the three updates in one day lol),
For this final version, it would be advised to flash on a clean install however you should get away with doing a dirty flash ;)
I am now turning my attentions to an all-in-one stock ROM which will include this mod along with a lot more..
    3
    @pricey2009
I saw you Sound Mod deeply and found that You just copy my Mod v5.3 files into you rom.
This is against the XDA Rules. Remove or change you Mod Otherwise i will report about this.

Actually if you have a look this mod is based on the alpha posted here:
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/audiomod-dreamonmusic-g-plux-v11z-t2900697

Which YKG-JimRnor has clearly stated can be used freely for other people to change/include etc,
4)This mod is FULLY OPENED, which means you can edit the mod itself or you can use it as your ROM's audio mod,

I have just added together a lot of other mods with that from other devices from around the XDA forums.
Bug fixing etc is done by myself as the things I have included are not compatible with these devices.

Your mod is also based on that alpha.. so I think we both need to credit YKG-JimRnor for his hard work,

But do not dare claim it is your work either, because it is not!

(You even left the DoMC G-PluX.txt file in system/etc in the thing you have posted)

    To quote from that file:
++THIS IS THE TXT FILES TO ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED DOMC G-PLUX ON YOUR DEVICE++
=THIS IS THE MOD DEVELOPED BY TEAM YKG LNHJ AND IT DON'T INCLUDE IT WITHOUT ANY PERMISSION!=
    =DoMC G-PluX Version: Sennei V17
    Developed by: LNHJ aka |21)con

Don't be so quick to point fingers because you will just make yourself look silly.
