PMA is not compatible with Qi. AT&T, Rogers and Bell use PMA. If you're heavily invested in Qi and you have a AT&T, Rogers or Bell phone, you won't be able to charge wirelessly unless you buy a universal Qi receiver that occupies the charging port.
Ok so I understand that PMA and Qi are not cross compatible. What I don't understand is why I can't just slap a Qi sticker on the back of my phone and have it work even though the phone is on Rogers (I understand Rogers used PMA). Isn't there just some wattage going though the pins in the back and I can just slap on whatever sticker?

Hopefully you can clear this up for me, as I litteraly made an account on XDA just to ask this question.

If the Qi 'sticker' plugs into your USB port then yes it will work just fine.

Ok that makes sense, so then the little pins, on the back of the LG G3 (2 for wireless charging, and 2 for NFC), are those pins for wireless charging connected directly to the usb port, or is there some sort of communication that happens to make sure that I don't put a Qi sticker on the phone that is only PMA compatible? If those pins are directly connected to the usb port, then how could AT&T and ROGERS (Canadian carriers) make sure we stick with PMA?

Thanks already for your help, just hoping I can clear up the issue on why I can't by a Qi back for my LG G3, on ROGERS.

There pins on the back plate go through a different set of circuits (layman's explanation) than the standard mircroUSB port. They cannot stop you from using a Qi enabled sticker that plugs into your USB port, but they can stop you from using a back panel with Qi over the pins.
