sorry but I am a little bit confused.. well i have XMP (sk17i) w/ bravia engine ..if i install this it will improved my bravia engine?.. i have stock rom 2.3 (.368) w/ rooted..sorry for stupid question :(

Bravia Engine only for phone have not . Not for phone already

I'm hopeless about camera quality very much . All of Xperia 2011 phone have same issues with high compression. So if you want to increase quality you have to change driver . It's possible but now i cant .

BE only help you view with higher contrast and clearer . It cannot change picture quality !

Hi, I just can't get this to work. Maybe I have missed something, but when i have chosen "install_cwm" in the drop list and click on the install button "adb install "apk\install_cwm" shows up in the box below, but nothing else happens.

What have I missed?

Yes, I have installed PC Companion. I also checked that the phone was properly connected by confirming i could see it with "adb devices" in a cmd-promt and earlier rooted the phone manually through the cmd-promt.

I also confirmed that I still have root access in the phone.

*Edit* It was just me missreading the installation instructions. I followed the steps for the APK Installer when trying to install CWM. Worked much better finding the correct line when I didn't click the box for APK Installer :eek:).

If its right, I can install CWM on my stock rooted Arc with Locked bootloader?

Then I can flash .zip etc..without problems?

Man that would be great!!!:cool:

confirming cmw works with my locked bl arcs

Edit. installer failed to detect on first try, restart PC then it worked perfectly.

Thank you very much!

Now THE question - is it now possible to install custom roms with stock kernel, cause of the locked bootloader?
