Hello MIUIers!

I am here to share with you a new custom boot img I have done for the Redmi Pro. It is the stock boot img used for MIUI but with some additions in order to support Spectrum but, what is Spectrum?

Spectrum is an app that aims to do what apps like Kernel Adiutor do but in a much easier way with different profiles. In the app you can choose between 4 profiles: Balanced, Battery, Performance and Gaming.

When a mode is chosen some parametres are changed such as the governor of the CPU in order to give a better performance or a better battery life.

Modes:

In the first version of this boot img the modes are programmed to do:

Balanced: same configuration as in the stock kernel.

Battery: the CPU governor is changed to powersave. This means that the CPU will tend to avoid the use of the faster CPUs and it will also change slower between frequencies in order to give a better battery life but reducing drastically the performance of the phone.

Performance and Gaming: in this version this 2 modes have the same configuration. The 8 slower cores of the CPU are configured to use an interactive governor while the other 2 cores are configured to use a performance governor.

Installation and download links:

First of all: this boot img has been tested in some unofficial MIUI 8 China Dev ROM. If you are using other ROM (China Stable) please do a back up before trying it and if it worked well please reply and tell me :)

WARNING!: it has bugs in China Dev ROM, I will fix it soon

Steps:

1 - You need TWRP, if you do not have it you can download it from here:
http://en.miui.com/thread-565402-1-1.html

2 - Download the boot img here:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120743595
3 - Download SuperSu (Even if you had root you will have to download this because some files are installed inside the boot img and by changing it those files are lost.http://www.supersu.com/download (Download the flashable zip)

4 - Go to TWRP and use the flash img option to flash the boot img you have downloaded to the boot partition. Then go back to the flash zip option and flash the supersu zip.

5 - Reboot and enjoy ;)

Do not forget to download the Spectrum app from the Play Store to change between the modes

has kernel can support f2fs!
The kernel is the same as stock but just with spectrum support. I cannot modify the kernel itself because we do not have the kernel sources.
I could add the spectrum support because it is a couple of files outside the kernel that have commands to interact directly with the kernel
