Darn icons won't change

Alright, so I think I've exhausted nearly all ideas for changing these icons. I can't seem to be able to change:

-Office Mobile folder icon or app icons
-Setting's cpl icon
-Any other settings icons

I've tried the reg entries as described here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=664109

And I've manually replaced the .png's in the sys folders (base dpi etc) and that was a no go.

I guess I'm not sure what else I can do lol maybe I'm doing something incorrectly :/

changing icons can become a headache and most of the times being icons from CPL i must to do a cab for change registries, maybe it works for you runing the cab in the customization
