Dasaita told me that MTCH is for the most recent PX6 motherboard....I assumed that they are not compatible as Dasaita publishes both mcus at the same time (mcte 3.78 & mtch 3.80)...so if I were you stay on mtce.

Vivid ROM are made for dasaita units....so completely conpatible. I have an android 11 ROM and I have to check which zlink version is inside

Is there a page /thread outlining why to upgrade? And I wouldn't lose my original zlink license?
I am.upgrading ROMs (for testing purposes) once or twice per week.....i never lost my license....just enable wifi and it activates automatically.....
Sorry for the delay, no unfortunately I never did find a fix for this. I ended up putting Hal9k on it and played with that for a while. Then sold the car it was in. Before hand I restored it to the factory shipped software and sold the head unit.
Mtch is exclusively for mtch MCU (new dasaita boards)....there is no risk on making the mistake of upgrading mtch over a mtce mcu as the upgrade will not succeed.Hi, I've a max10 and seen now new update (also vivid) and mtch(??) 3.80. Can i try this or is best to remain to mtce mcu 3.78? Ty

Yes, I didn't notice where it said Android 9 because the letters were so small. The link for the file I downloaded was listed under V940 which is what I have so maybe Dasaita linked to the wrong file.
You have to go to factory settings (password 126) and activate the option of carplay...then you will get the Zlink app unhidden (is installed but hidden)

It would be great if you can share what's on your mind for the future of this device... Would it be updated to 7.0? Are you guys thinking on moving directly to 8.0 as some post suggested? Or are you focusing on further cleaning/bug removal on Android 6 for the foreseeable future?
While upgrading for the sake of being able to claim compatibility with latest android release is not really helpful for the users (everybody prefers a stable device rather than latest SW), what Google is doing with the assistant seems quite niceand I understand there's no possible dirty trick to get Assistant on Android 6 (while there're some "options" posted for Android 7)
