Data speeds

Originally it appeared that I was only having problems with data on certain ROMs but now I'm seeing that its across the board. When I first got the phone and was running ROMs I had great speeds but after flashing a certain ROM my speeds went to hell. Now no matter which ROM I am on my data speeds are awful. Checked apns, tried modems and just recently went all the way back to stock and started from scratch.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The network is probably causing the issue.

If it is all roms and stock with multiple modems it is probably ATT. Unless you lost your IMEI. Menu - Settings - About phone - Status - IMEI (if this says 0 you lost it) But if you have any thing besides edge that probably isn't it.

Not that it matters to much but it turns out I went over my data cap (on an unlimited plan they cap at 5gb) so I have been throttled back. ......annoying.

Ask ATT to switch your phone to another IMEI then call and switch it back. Make sure they keep unlimited on your plan, but going from phone to phone usually releases the cap.
