Hi... hoping to get some help on something that's driving me nuts. First, the usual disclaimer: I'm sorry if this is not the right area for the inquiry or if this was previously answered elsewhere, I've been looking for information all afternoon with no luck.
The issue: this is the Mrs' phone, my old LG Optimus G on a stock kitkat 4.4.2 rom (yes, a dinosaur, but an awesome dinosaur that keeps going at it perfectly). It displays a Data network warkning (see attached image) when switching from wifi to data which I think is standard. However it is unbelievable bothersome. There is a setting within mobile networks to untick a box if I don't want to see this displayed, however once I untick, and exit the setting doesn't save, I go back in and it's back to being ticked. Is there any way on this green earth to stop these warnings or to make that setting stick? It's rooted and I have no problem going in to a file and editing if that's what it takes.
