hello all
i just created interesting thing :)
as you know system partition is bigger than data.
custom firmwares is small enough to move it to userdata partition
so we can get 245 mb for userdata!
here is my post on 4pda: tinyurl . com / data2sys
setup via cwm recovery 2518 backup and restore -> restore

note: there no way to apply update.zip to firmware, as system partition realy contains userdata

Well can you post the links? Prefably separately.
i can not post links to this forum :(
but i'll try :)
2.3.2v1.4b by Mur4ik+gapps + data<->sys: narod.ru/disk/5997218001/232-14b-data2sys.zip.html
2.1 + kernel 0.3.1 by Quarx + data<->sys: narod.ru/disk/6014167001/21-q31-data2sys.zip.html
2.2.1 OpenSwift 4.4 kernel 1.5 + data<->sys: narod.ru/disk/6059964001/221-os44k15-data2sys.zip.html
Do you have problems with data cashe? If you use whole memory for apps, where cashe will be stored?
cache partition is the same! just exchanged system and data partition

Hi all..

I just want to say that this mod is working very well, no problem whatsoever. Now I still have around 100 MB free space in my phone (around 100 user apps, only games are moved to SD )

Thanks for Anton_ch for this mod.hope u can make other mod if newest rom comes out.

Hello i just see this post lol man change it to developers threads.

Is there a posibility you can do this for superfast froyo? :D
I've always had problems with Mur4ik versions i find them not reliable, after sometime it starts to lag and is not stable also has bugs like the battery one.

Congrats for your good work!
Maybe i give this a try someday.

    You can flash it by:
    1. Unzip catalog with this files: system.img, data.img
    2. Paste this catalog to ->Clockworkmod->Backup
    3. Go to recovery.
    4. Search Restore option and click on it.
    Sorry for my bad English ;)
