Here are the results and tests from the best independant image sensor testers out there. No surprises in there

Independent? You've got to be kidding. The tech sites have become commercialized to a ridiculous extent. You just can't trust anything you see, or hear from them.
They've been mostly corrupted by Apple and Samsung with those aligned with Apple now falling in behind HTC.
The old guard, Nokia and Sony don't play by the same dishonest rules and so will never fair well with these sites. They'll either have to start coughing up back channel donations or put out tech that just cannot be criticised in anyway.
They always overlook the faults on Apple and Samsung devices depending on which side their on with the Apple crowd doing the same for HTC devices.
On the other hand, they seem to dwell a lot on the faults or flaws of other brands outside that network of deception and in many cases glaze over the strengths of the Nokia's and Sony devices. It's just how it is. Tech sites don't have a shred of credibility left in them as far as I'm concerned. To many half truths, exaggerations, and in some cases bare faced lies told in their reviews. Forget the tech sites, that's my advice.
