Wow. Got my skins delivered today in the UK. Just 2 days from being posted out..... Was expecting to have to wait a week or so. Thanks dbrand!
Same here. It was supposedly going to be 7-14 days and then it came within 2 days.
Using mine on an LG Slim Guard case rather than the stock back cover, the "standard" fit one fits perfectly on the back of the Slim Guard case.

So from my understanding from reading all the post here this would be the order of grippiness.

  • Carbon Fiber
  • Matte
  • Wood
  • Metal
  • True Color
  • Leather

Could you weigh in on the correct order? I really like the Titanium gray for my white G3, but i'm worried about the grip. Is it grippier than the stock back cover or about the same.

Thanks

I was thinking of this: (Attached)

That looks really good. I had the black leather for a couple days and had to remove it. It was just as slippery as stock. :( Feel like I wasted money on it. I know you are looking at the Metal but that looks like it would possibly be more slick than the leather. I look forward to what others say also.

I've got the matte black on now. It looks great on the front coz it really blends in with the totally black front of the phone and mine covers the logo. On the back, however, I find it really quite slippy and it gets really greasy from your hands quickly. I got this based on dbrand saying somewhere in this thread that Matte was the grippiest. Also, I think I saw on their Facebook page that they brought out a reengineered Matte one.

Sorry for the late reply. here's the listing I used, although that's ended now. I think the "CCH 320" is the version with the cutout and the "CCH 320G" is the version without the cutout, which is what I have.
How are the sides of the case? I've read reviews that they aren't that great and doesn't add any grip to the case.

How you finding using the case? I'm kinda tempted to get a quick circle case coz I've seen a developer who has created a really neat bunch of apps to run in the little window..... Much better than the stock lg apps

Rockin the white carbon with titanium accents. Love these skins, use this with a glass screen protector. No more case for me thanks to dbrand!

Just wondering, would this skin be applied over a screen protector or under?
I have a full body protector which covers the entire back, thus my question.

You can't apply a screen protector over the front one. As for the back do you have a clear skin on it already? If you do doubling up doing skins is never a good idea it's like doubling up condoms something will go wrong.

Dbrand Bamboo skin review

So this week I was able to test out the dbrand bamboo skin with some matte black accents and here are my thoughts so far.

[Good]
Came with multiple back covers and front covers for a much more versatile selection. I especially enjoy the front cover that just shows the lg logo, makes my front pop.
The precision fit solves the problems for the edges of the phone and will not come off like traditional skins.
The bamboo skin is very durable and is nice to hold in my hands, it looks great too.
The stickers will not come off in my pockets which is always nice.

[bad]
While I enjoy having my phone's original colors with the skin, it allows for scratches on the top and bottom of the phone.
The precision fit could be a little bit longer to completely cover the edges.
The installation process does not allow for a ton of error so those who screw up will be wasting fifteen bucks.
The accent sticker for the rear button does not fit perfectly and looks sort of unappealing when you notice.

[final thoughts]
I enjoyed my time with this skin, it feels great in your hands and is really durable, but it is not a complete cover of your phone. And while cases fit better with this skin, it still could cover a bit more of the phone. I would give it a 8.5/10.

Thanks for the review. I ordered the bamboo and can't wait to see it in person. Yesterday was 14 days since it shipped, so I am really hoping it is there tonight!

ugghh, I can't decide which skin to get. I have a white phone, but was thinking of getting the white matte skin all around but i haven't seen a good picture of a white matte skin outside of the skin chooser on the site.
