Dc dimming on 3 /3t?

Hello all. Does it possible to port "dc dimming" feature for 3t ( and 3)? In recent news oneplus said that they will give Dc dimming feature for 5 and 5t users, if im not wrong, 5 have same display module with 3T, so is it possible to make dc dimming work on 3t? Can someone try to port it?
