Encryption had to be completely removed to be fixed.
PIE will NOT work with cache located on storage card. WM6.1 bug.
no2chem has fixed alot of WM6.1 bugs and helped me alot with my XIP. If not for him,
this rom would be incomplete or broken. If you like my work, remember to thank him also.

here i'll post my changelog since my last kitchen release, 1.6.10.
however, somewhere along the way i decided to continue the 1.x line as stable and 2.x as experimental. 1.7.0 rom/kitchen will follow on 2.17 base. lets keep that conversation out of this thread, though

On the ROM that's going to be posted, did you set the pagefile size to 4mb again? I guess it's not a big deal since I can change it to what I want. Just curious as to what you found to be optimal?

I noticed the buildOS.exe was not there..
EDIT...Sorry. It's under the Tools folder. I'm use to seeing it in the root folder.
download the file.
extract the folder from the rar.
open the folder and run the batch file BuildNB.bat
make selections in buildos and press play
when buildos completes, close it
follow the prompts in the flash utility
use your new rom

According to DCD instructions, we run the BuildNB.bat file.. It should work once we get the ROMs added. We will have to be patient and wait for DCD to upload them.

I don't see a CreateNB.bat, but when I run BuildNB.bat I get an error "Windows cannot find 'ROMUpdateUtility.exe' <snip> ". I can see the .exe in \RUU, spelled correctly, but I can't tell where BuildNB.bat is expecting to find it...

Looks like mine fails to run BuildOS.exe. The BuildNB.bat is calling BuildOS.exe, but it craps out. If i try to run BuildOS.exe manually it gives the error
"This App has failed to start b/c the app config is incorrect. Reinstalling the app may fix this problem."
Do we need a certain version of the .net framework for this to work properly?

1Notifications are not working. I use ptravelalarm and the alarms are not going off like they used to. Seems like it only goes off if I set an alarm within a min from the time its set, but when left overnight it doesn't go off in the morning. It doesnt even go off once I wake the phone up like the bug that used to exist with some older roms. Any ideas? is this another greloc problem? Using rom 2.3.1 (downgraded from 2.3.2, thought the new rom was the problem but apparently not)
