Ok. For some reason, you have a security lock on the apps or folders. So...

I am working on a flashable update.ZIP that has privileged access to the device due to it running under Recovery mode. The update.zip will flash Google Apps "mini" package and remove bloat.
Google Apps installed will be:
  • Device Health Services
  • Gmail
  • Google App (Search)
  • Google Calculator (replaces stock/AOSP Calculator)
  • Google Calendar (replaces stock/AOSP Calendar)
  • Google Clock (replaces stock/AOSP Clock)
  • Google Maps
  • Google Messages (not installed on tablet devices) (replaces stock/AOSP SMS app)
  • Google Pixel Launcher
  • Google Package Installer (replaces stock/AOSP Package Installer)
  • Google Photos (replaces stock/AOSP Gallery)
  • Google Play services
  • Google Tags (replaces stock/AOSP NFC Tags)
  • Google Text-to-Speech
  • YouTube

I am working on the list of apps to be removed and will post these soon here, along with the update.zip and instructions.

NOTE: update.zip will be flashable after a factory reset and without root or bootloader unlock etc, and will require no additional apps or settings - just a reboot of the phone.

I am on 185 so there quite possibly is something preventing removal of stock launcher in 195. As I do not have 195 available on a handset, i cannot debug.

I got 195 last night via OTA. Still works fine and can uninstall stock launcher using adb. Those who are on the same ROM must be doing something wrong, All I can suggest is do a factory reset AND wipe cache - yoou need to wipe the cache - then run the debloat again AND then wipe cache again.

To wipe cache:
1. Power off
2. Hold Volume-Up AND Power together. Keep pressed until the Huawei logo appears.
3. Select wipe cache
4. Select reboot system

I tried to remove the stock launcher but Nova survived the 185 to 195 update and launcher has not reverted (unlike 185 update where Nova worked for a bit but then the stock launcher needed (and could be) removed).

195 installed through the EMUI boot over the air full update (that did not mess with the contents, though I did have to do the location update (e.g., "mv china china.old" in other thread) after replacing the magisk boot image and using the vol up boot sequence.

HWEVR:/system/bin # ./mount -o rw,remount /system_root
HWEVR:/system_root/system/emui # mv china china.old
HWEVR:/system_root/system/emui # mv china_honor china_honor.old
HWEVR:/system_root/system/emui # cp -pr oversea china
HWEVR:/system_root/system/emui # cp -pr oversea_honor china_honor

Look forward to a flashable repeatable way to do all these steps.

Can someone please help me with these procedures.

So, I downloaded the rar file and unzipped it onto my computer. I installed both EVIE and SWIFTKEY on the my phone. Rebooted my phone and did a wipe on the cache partition then rebooted again. After that, I clicked on "DEBLOAT" on my computer and nothing happens. Should I click "debloat" on my phone instead? I tried that but it told me to open it with an APP...I don't know how to do that.

Thanks for your help guys!

Welcome to my mod.

With this script, we will remove applications to improve the user experience, a longer battery life and more free RAM.

The script is compatible with Emui9, that is, it is valid for Huawei P20 and its variants, for the Huawei Mate 20 and its devices and any device that has the Emui9 software, possibly also worth it for the 8 (the spectrum of applications is very broad, but since I am not a possessor, those mobile phones will have applications that do not reach).

Download link: https://mega.nz/#!6d8ylCRZ!cSQE1gDQ02m6-5Kfd8q1c8p_UjAnzk23YnAq3YKRvAQ

This mod will be updated with each monthly EMUI update (in case applications have been added),

If you want to add an apk to remove it, simply download appinspector, open the application and pass a screenshot of the application to remove it.

Thanks to @soundoyster, without him, this would not have been possible.

Any error or error please notify.

You also have my Youtube channel for questions.

I do not have to say that I do not take responsibility for your phone to explode, make it rain money, a prostitute leaves the cell phone and sucks you and a thousand other things.

Greetings.

PD: Do not open it from your mobile, the file manager of .rar is garbage, you have to use winrar from the computer!

Instructions inside the rar (in Spanish, so use the translator).

Additional instructions: Enable USB debugging when the phone is connected and accept all the windows that come out.

Sorry bad english.
Worked well on my mate 10 pro , got rid of a pile of unnecessary crap

Look forward to running it on the mate 20 X when it arrives

Great stuff!

Hello,

Im using the EVR-AL00, its running build 9.0.0.175, EMUI 9.0.0, android 9. I havent updated it because I felt it would be easier to root it in the future, yet there are no codes available so, jokes on me. Anyway, my next step was to use this one click method to debloat my phone. Turns on my PC doesnt recognize my phone when I plug it in anymore. The drivers are up to date and so is windows. Could it be my phone that is the problem? WIll the one click debloat still work on the latest version of this phone. If anyone can reach out and help id really appreciate it. Thank you.

Got to ask a dumb question. Do you need to be rooted to debloat?
No need to root. Just enable USB Debugging in Developer Options and make sure USB Debugging is on when you plug your phone to the PC. You can check this in the notification area when you pull it down.

Is there any Version 3?
No version 3 ; But these are the ones i disabled for 9.1 and my phone still works well. Just make sure to install a separate keyboard first.
