Hey everyone, figure i start a thread on apps/etc that can be safely disabled, so that we can dial on on removing needless junk from our phones.

I am currently running a Snapdragon S22 Ultra, SM-S908U 512GB (AT&T variant) so my list may vary versus other Snapdragon variants.

LIST BELOW, this is for SnapDragon users. There are some AT&T apps other Snapdragon uses will not have, each carrier has their own bloatware added. I may have missed a few or have a few added you may not have.

If you own a Verizon, T-Mobile, or Unlocked S22 Ultra, please PM me with a list of your running processes and i will attempt to create a minimalist list for each Snapdragon variant.

This is a work in progress; your feedback helps, as does that of any others with more experience or knowledge to share!

Your battery life will differ from mine depending on your preferences.

I have battery saving on, 70% max CPU speed on, 720p, fixed 60hz, 85% max charge, and some other misc tweaks i would be happy to share. I will update this post with all settings maxxed out in a few days (by end of March)

Instructions
Use ADB AppControl for ease of use, and simply create a text file in your ADB AppControl/presets folder and copy these entries and save as txt.
Enable USB debugging on your S22 Ultra
Load up ADB AppControl, on PC, connect S22 Ultra and connect in 'Cable Charging' mode.
Follow instructions to correctly connect your S22 Ultra (easy walkthrough, only needs to be done once)
Once connected properly, hit 'Load Preset' and load the txt file you made
Click dropdown in bottom right and hit APPLY

This list DISABLES Chrome, Google Assistant, DeX, Edge screen, ALL AT&T crap, ALL gaming related crap, PenUP, S-health, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and some other minor 'features'. All are easily restored and i will separate this list with descriptors in a few days.

Hey OP does this list work on Android 13? I just tried it and it only found 63 apps to uninstall. So far I still notice a huge difference; I'm just wondering if we need an updated list for the new Android 13 OS. Thanks!

Thanks! I just tried your list and it removed another 73 applications from my phone. The one issue I've found is that it removed my calendar apps and now it appears impossible for me to install Google Calendar, or any calendar app for that matter. Any ideas? I tried re-installing the calendar apps using the APK files that ADB App Control backed up for me, but it's not letting me install those either.

Did you disable Calendar or straight up uninstalled it?

Hello! I disabled a handful of things but now when I fly and try connecting to a hotspot that is unsecured but still needs external authentication through a web page, it doesn't work. It doesn't load the screen to authenticate when it a says "Sign into XYZ network" at the top of the page after connecting.

Any idea what disabled app is causing this?

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Okay, folks. Here is a tested and fully functioning debloat list for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra T-Mobile & Metro by T-Mobile variant (SM-908U), with detailed instructions. If you are tethered to these spy devices and are reluctant to distance yourself from the 5 Eyes and 14 Eyes that are prying into your life on a daily basis, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! If you are interested in turning your smart device into a "dumb" device, proceed with caution. All Uninstalled and Disabled apps have been tested and the device's responses were recorded, but, your mileage may vary. Not much, but, slightly. ADB AppControl and SamFW were used in the processes and each step will be explained in detail, thoroughly. Let us begin.

[Attached are the Uninstall and Disable presets for ADB AppControl]

Applying those debloat presets without doing an entire Factory Reset is fine, but doing a Factory Reset is advised. If you have NOT done a factory reset and have applied these attached presets and you do run into issues, you can always tweak accordingly, by re-enabling certain APKs.

If you are like me and are smart enough to comprehend that you ought NOT to save personal and sensitive information on these devices (contact info, email addresses (YOU DO NOT OWN AN EMAIL), banking and other financial details) and keep an offline backup of the aforementioned, then Factory Reset your device. After the reset has been done and you are at the "Welcome" page, run SamFW and "Remove FRP" (found under "Test Mode" tab). This allows you to dodge the Google and Samsung setup requirements and agreements (specifcally, I use SamFw_Tool_v3.31) (download the tool form https://samfw.com/). Follow the instructions [tap on "Emergency Calls" on your phone and use the dialer to enter *#0*#] and wait for your phone to reboot. After the reboot, continue to use the SamFW Tool to "Delete bloatwares", then "Remove Samsung account". These options can be found under the "ADB" tab. Reset your device, once again, then move on to ADB AppControl.

[Upon Factory Resetting my device, I also flash the USC CSC (XAA), in order to avoid carrier bloatware].

As instructed earlier, load the presets for both Uninstall and Debloat, respectively.

[NOTE!!!]
The disable script DISABLES (not uninstalls) Google Play Services and Google Play Store. This immediately triggers "the Goyim Knows!" protocol and you will be bombarded with incessant alerts and notifications. This is merely a "how dare you!" finger-wagging, but you can always disable the notifications. Most importantly, it threatens that Carrier Services will not work without it. Ignore this. As long as your 4G/5G/LTE and Wifi works, you're okay. Do not let the kvetching get to you. Reboot and you're good to go.

I must point out that this was initially done by uninstalling Software Update services, then the obvious bloatware, such as Samsung Free, ALL Bixby apps and dependencies, AR apps and dependences, then unnecessary Samsung apps, such as Samsung Pass (you shouldn't be storing your info on someone else's computer), Samsung Internet, Samsung Pay, Samsung Cloud, Android Auto etc. Take a look at the attached preset for detailed info. Knox is also Uninstalled and other DolphinAttack sound spying protocols and dependencies. Google and its dependencies were dealt with last, because of the obvious "the goyim knows!" intensifies when they are Disabled and Uninstalled.

Lastly, I installed my F-Droid apps, especially NetGuard, where I lockdown ALL traffic and allow only apps I need, when I need them. If you are interested in knowing what apps I use, please let me know and I will be happy to share.

I hope this will be useful to many.

do you need that spyware on your phone? if so...just uncheck that apps before applying

Taking out Galaxy Store kills the updates of Native Dialer, Messaging, Gallery and Camera Apps.
These apps once in a while bring new addons, especially the dialer.
What Spyware is that exactly you're pinpointing at ?

Facebook - I understand. Some don't like it, Some prefer using it.

Those lists are pretty aggressive and remove tons of features folks might use. Folks, don't just blindly use those without checking and knowing what you're removing. :)
    10
Here's a full list of Samsung system apps that tells you the package name, what it does, and if it is safe to remove so you can decide for yourself. I don't remember who shared this but I saved it.

    9
Here is a good list that I found, on the s21 ultra forums:

This guy also has a thread on how to do an aggressive debloat and some settings to use to crank up battery life.
