[debloat] [mod] What are the possible modifications without root?

Hi all,

The time has come that I got bored with my OnePlus 3. It's a wonderful piece of technology, but I have always been curious about Samsung Galaxy S7. So I got it, but it's heavily bloated and therefore (I guess) slower with poorer battery performance than OP3 achieves.

Are there any means of debloating without root? And any other mods/tricks one could try in order to tune this undeniably good phone? What are, in your opinion, best modifications available for non-root users?
I really don't want to trip Knox, because chances are that after a week I'll decide to stay with OnePlus and sell the S7.

Thank you very much for your help :)

PS: It's Exynos version.

Oh my! I've found a way to completely uninstall, not only disable system apps! It requires a lot of work though.

Apart from debloating, what useful I could do without root?
For eg. this ugly white UI unnerves me. Is there any way to change it without tripping Knox?
You could use a Launcher like Nova Launcher - It's very customizable - Unfortunately it won't change the appearance of Settings etc - But it will make the UI a little more palatable.... Is there a reason that you are concerned about tripping Knox?

I'm already using Evie launcher, it's the best one I've ever tried. But it still doesn't make status bar less awful... What a time to be alive - clean android is way better looking than custom skins :D
At the moment I have two phones - Galaxy (new) and OnePlus
3 (old) and I haven't decided yet which one to keep. That's why I don't want to trip Knox, because that will void the warranty and therefore lower the market value.

Well here's a Screen Shot with the Google Search Bar Remove & one with the Google Search Bar which I use.

This is Nova Launcher btw.

If you're wanting a darker UI, what about checking out some of the themes in the Samsung store?

I'm running the sd-Black (free) theme from there and really like the look. The upside is it's a complete theme, so all parts of the UI are changed.

I know this isn't much contributing, but get a phone w/out Knox, like a Pixel, and trade in your S7 for it, anything other than a Samsung will always keep warranty when you trip it, the best you can do to debloat is disable apps manually, or with an app, I'd hate to break it you, but this would stop said apps from running, which is close, but you won't be getting that space back. There are a vast number of Custom ROMs, I run LineageOS 14.1 on a 2015 J7!!! (It's the budget version of basically an S6) and it runs really smooth and I get a full 10gb of usable storage (I have plenty of games, and I use Spotify's download feature, no pics, or vids are taken on this phone, also this phone runs as smooth as an iPhone, or pretty close) and if I ever do run out I can always load apps on the SD, comes with Nougat. (I realize this doesn't contribute much to the OP, but I'm trying to make a point)
