Although I use i-Launcher's battery meter (which reads correctly), I also have the today screen battery (in the status bar) showing 100% full even when battery is almost empty. I have T-mobile US version and Radio 2.15.50.14. No big deal, but I thought I would mention it. :) Thanks again! :D

576mb ram will not work with hspl4 you need to downgrade to hspl 2.08 to enable the 576mb ram. This is a known issue!

First of all, thanks Sir for this interesting Rom!

It seems to be pretty stable, beside the battery icon which sometimes keeps in the recharging state when disconnected, but i think i've found a small issue which impacts largely the wifi tethering.
Basically i've tried all along this afternoon to install "Comm Manager 2.9.5.0 Suite w/ Wifi Sharing v1.1" but basically although everything installs fine it seems that at the end of the day the WIFI switch doesn't make the right job and this has a clear impact also on the WIFI tethering functionality. That there's something strange is also confirmed by the fact that if u go into Start->Settings->Connections->WIFI and u try to switch the "Turn on Wi-Fi" check button it greys out as if it can't activate the WI-FI.

As anyone found a similar behavior?

Thanks in advance, R

Radio version: 2.15.50.14

can you make a video of you using it? I kinda wanna see it in action! :)

Never mind. I just flashed it!

I like it, but is there a way to get a bigger keyboard?

There´s no need for a larger keyboard. WM 6.1 was designed to be used by a stylus. Doing that the keyboard is large enough. Give it a try.

If you like to navigate using your finger WM 6.5.x would be your better choice

I don't know if this helps if you prefer using the keyboard, but I use the character/Block recognizer in WM. I've been using PDAs since the palm pilot days and am much more comfortable using these than the keyboard. In fact, when I installed some android builds on my SD card, I thought I would go crazy until I installed "Graffiti" for android. I really hate keyboards. :p

As far as the previous posters suggestion of a stylus, I bought one of those iPad stylus and found it awkward for me. With these capacitive touch screens, a careful touch works great for me. :)

Although it takes a little more care to tap the smaller interface elements in WM 6.1, I wouldn't change a thing. I like seeing more stuff on the screen and the more computer like interface. :) That's why I want to offer kefir.net all the encouragement I can to polish this build. It is really the last, greatest stand for WM 6.1. A few small adjustments and maybe Office 2010, and this is exactly what I want for a long time to come. :D

Let us know how you are doing chef. I know there may not be many of us, but I for one, would be happy to donate if it would help give you a little encouragement. :)

Thanks again! :D

Hi all! Thank you for your feedbacks :)

Yes, I'm planing some updates if I'll can fix bugs.
The most problems are because of HTC apps, using Rhodium base for 0.7.

What HTC devices with WVGA screens was released by HTC with WinMo 6.1? After Rhodium and HD1.

Thank You for your great works.

The Diamond 2 was shipped with WM 6.5:
http://www.htc.com/de/product/touchdiamond2/specification.html
And wasn´t the MAX 4G the same as a Touch HD only for the Russian market (= only with Russian language)?

But why are you searching for such old firmware? IMO you can use those apps shipped with WM 6.5.
WM 6.1 and 6.5 are compatible to each other

because they are so fast.If you can cook wm 6.5 not 6.5.x that is as fast as this without overclocking the cpu we're here to support you.
all of the cooked 6.5 roms are rubbish and they have so many bugs.

I think you missunderstand my question. I didn´t criticize porting WM 6.1 for the HD2.

My question was why Kefir.net is searching for WM 6.1 ROM in order to get the HTC apps. To my mind even the newer versions of the HTC apps should work. Kefir.net answered my question already.

And yes, I´m the same opinion: WM 6.5 was no big deal of Microsoft. I didn´t use it for a long time.
