Hello all,

I know this has been talked to death but figured I'd report the finding of a decent direct (no-mod) batt replacement for our beloved N5s.

Caveat: It takes 4weeks to get to US from Germany, cost: $25.

Search e*bay for "PolarCell Battery for LG Google Nexus 5 D821 D820 BL-T9 EAC62078701 2450mAh"

I'm getting 4-5h SOT (crDroid 4.7 Oreo 8.1, Magisk 18.1, FrancoKernel at Balanced Profile). Capacity reported by my (kinda crappy) meter edges right at 2000mAh, but I suspect it's undereporting and I might get a new quality one and remeasure.

So, for anyone willing to drop the coin and wait a few weeks and not mod, this is IMO a good option. Probably as good as it gets in 2019. If this has been previously reported, please move to appropriate thread.

i own a nexus since 2014 and replaced the baterry only once, but it starts to become an issue again, just that this time there is no more original batteries out there.... i never tried a mod but i will if needed, i cant go outside too much time because my battery die in 4 hours. I wanna know more of your experience and how u handle this issue

OP is saying the battery he mentioned is a good quality drop-in replacement which he used to replace the stock battery.
