ok, so I just picked up a new xoom wifi from best buy and when the wifi tries to turn on it fails and says "error"under the status. Also when I turn on B/T it acts like it's turning on but then blinks and goes back to saying "turn on bt"
I think I got a bad one, gonna go back and try another one.

Took it back, the geeks at bb checked it out and said it was defective.
Exchanged it for another one and it seems to be working fine.
